Some books have populations that are low on the census because they generally aren't valuable enough to get graded. Some are low pop because there just aren't many copies out there. You have some lovely GA books here and some of them are WW2 covers which is generally more desirable. Bedrock's offer is pretty fair and he's a straight shooter.

There were a lot of collectors buying this stuff back in the day and eventually some of those guys want to rediscover it again The Rule of 25. Sure a lot of these books are common but there are buyers for this era of books. And you're right, if you can buy it for $1 and sell it for $10 that's an excellent sale.
