  1. There are worse comics to be unable to offload - I would speculate if and when they recast wolverine - that will bump up - NYX 3 was affordable 2 years ago
  2. Nice copy man at a great price I have a 7.5/8 myself ( can’t remembwr ) good luck
  3. Avengers 1 Lee/ Campbell still around ?
  4. Rich , ill be at the East Goast show in NJ- may use your service to get something drawn
  5. Lol- after the 70’s it appeared vampirella had some work done ....
  6. Does anyone remember Dino Riders ? For a 7 -8 year old boy nothing is cooler than dinosaurs and machine guns ....ala “ Dinosaurs for hire” genesis classic - also featuring Hawaiian shirts ... but I digress
  7. Thanks for the nightmares - Lena Dunham ( human version ) is frightening enough
  8. Indeed - those are in killer condition - that is a nice down payment on something - kudos !
  9. Likewise - phalanx covenant was it for me , after the last several crossovers being very good - I felt it Petered out after that , whether accurate or not - I felt like this was the beginning of Marvel having a never ending loop of crossover events , something still utilized today ( DC is guilty of this as well )
  10. Great catch man ! Good to know people still try to do thins the right way and go after these peddlers - doesn’t surprise me eBay doesn’t want to get involved , but unfortunate none the less . Although I don’t have any Stan signed books ( yet) I hope to one day - I think the most obvious scam is that fact that if someone were to get a book signed by Stan , it would likely be some variation of a key book , no ?
  11. Thanks ! Maybe a bit under graded - but some TLC at a later date can take care of that - on wards and upwards ...
  12. So I sent it to get worked on , I didn’t press it as I usually do , but ended up with a blue label 5.5 - expensive process - but I feel pretty good about how it all turned out - you can see the line removed on the bottom right
  13. I’m about 4 episodes in and it’s starting to slow down ( which means it will get crazy soon I’m sure ) a lot of microchip backstory and “wife” digs - not sure how I feel about Billy Russo and the Anvil Merc company , but I’m driving on. I must say I truly love all the comic book references “ Gnucci crime family “ up to the perp he put through the pinball machine like the action figure ...
  14. Invincible iron man 55 - thanos / drax - avengers 55- ultron ill try try and think of a few more ....
  15. I concur - the original punisher storyline has always been fantastic - although I enjoyed a piece of each movie from the Lundgren 89 one (appearance - but where is the skull ?!) I’ll get to the fillers eventually ....The current one seems the most promising - depending on how much becomes a government “ cover up “ -
  16. I feel I am in a similar category - basically learned to read with comics in 80s and read / collected heavy to the 90s - got out for a bit but honestly , the movies brought me back - the ability to finally see stories on the screen from my childhood comic adventures was fascinating - I’m still working on full runs and will never have enough “ keys” - I dabble in selling / trading - but much more of a collector
  17. Maybe slow or lethargic press would be more accurate ? ?
  18. My grandmother got me this 20 years ago or so in the Home Shopppng Network heyday - I don’t thing CGC could authenticate if I was to get it slabbed though ....
  19. I submitted 2 in the first week of July ( both for quick press as well as grading) just got them back last week - first week of November so a solid 120 days ?
  20. That is a solid mix of graded awesomeness - issue 6 - the Mignola toxic waste cover is one of my all time favorite comic book covers
