Thought I'd add another book...this time a modern. The left is the US cover to Nova 1 Marcos Martin 1:50 variant. Stunning cover in my opinion...the right is a Panini version which has a virgin finish and is embossed. -

Just starting to get back into picking up a few foreign editions. Managed to snag a Spanish Captain America 4 - just love the ghostly image of Cap's mask together with the bullets. -

Comic book collecting with a foreign variant focus

Hey everyone Just wanted to add some books I found whilst digging in some old boxes of mine. They are German variants to Batman Beyond 1. I know about the purple cover (far left) but the others I don't have a lot of knowledge on excepts for variant being on the cover (far right). Would love to know more if anyone knows..are they all from the same period/is the variant rarer than the regular? FYI I am based in the Uk. Thanks -

FYI Call of Duty mobile are releasing a new legendary character skin next season based on the Batman of Laughs. Could poss have an impact of TT12....not sure if the genres cross over enough. That said there was some traction initially with that Fortnite crossover. -

Yeah that's correct..tanning fc + back. Not sure how this has happened. The book's always been in boxed and bagged, but perhaps I had it in a wrong sized backing board at some point...

Just going through some long boxes and found two copies of this. I have put them separately into their own threads. All opinions welcome please. Thanks for looking.

This is my first 'wall book' that I ever brought back in the days. The mylar read £3.00 which was a lot for me as a kid at the time for me! Still has high gloss and a few little nicks along the spine. Bottom left fc corner has taken a knock along the years also.

Thanks for sharing Qalyar. I'll really appreciate everyones opinion so thanks for adding. Yeah I think my scanner has added a lot of flecks to the image. I took the scan on a very high res. In person, the spine tick isn't visible/doesn't break colour, however there is a slight dent which may press out. The top right FC corner looks a little worn/blunt but not bent. Tbh anything in that NM +9.0 I would be over the moon with. Being a black cover and a thicker card cover, it is so prone to surface wear. -
