  1. Hi, I would be intersted in getting a piece from Black Line Fever. However I am located in Germany and they don't accept either PayPal or Credt Cards. Has any1 here experience how to best deal with them if one lives outside the US? Thanks.
  2. George Perez was one of my favoriate US artists and a great guy. I met him on several conventions and was always very approachable and friendly. My condolences to his family.
  3. Hi, I am on a Florida vacation during the MegaCon weekend. I will probably be at Orlando MegaCon just for Friday (doing a daytrip from Clearwater). How is the parking situation on Friday morning at the Orlando convention center? Many thanks.
  4. Hi, I uploaded the cover scan to my server for DV employee to download. I also asked for acknowledgnment and comp copy. We will see what happens.
  5. Yes. I find this rather strange too. Maybe someone just want to make prints of the cover to sell them. The sender call himself Andy Mangels. Does that ring a bell?
  6. Hi, I received a message on CAF regarding my Wonder Woman #4 cover by George Perez. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1077310 The sender claimed to be working for DC Comics (though he was using an AOL email address). Her asked me whether I would provide a hi-res scan of the artwork for an alleged "George Perez Wonder Woman Absolute Edition". I replied that I could provide such a scan an upload it for him but that it would be nice if DC would send me a complimentary copy of the book in return. This is the answer that I received: << As it is a $100 book, and it is one piece of art, I doubt they will. I think the best people ever get paid is $10 a scan, and that's with clean-up work. I know that's the best I've ever been paid. If that is a deal-breaker, then I will let them know. >> I find this a bit hard to believe and - if true - rather cheap on DC's side. Doing a high quality scan costs about €60,- around here and they don't want to give away a free copy of the book. I have given other artwork scans for a European reprint book ("Valerian") and I got my free copy and the scanning costs reimbursed and that was a small company and not a branch of Time-Warner. What do you guys think?
  7. I like George Perez run on "Wonder Woman" in the 80s.
  8. Hi, I am considering a purchase from "Wonderful World of Animation" (Culver City, LA). http://www.animationartgallery.com/ Do you guys hav any recent experiences with them? Many thanks.
  9. A nice watercolor "Batman" by Mignola. Did anyone catch the price for that?
  10. Hi, I picked up the inside cover for The Crow # 3. Much obliged to the seller. Thanks for the advice in this forum. I am still interested in a panel page from the original series. If you know of something being available please drop me a line.
  11. Hi, I was wondering if there is any gallery/ dealer that sells artwork by the director Tim Burton? I might be interested in a little sketch or doodle. No fakes obviously. Thanks.
  12. Still looking. Any idea what price range a decent Crow page would be in? Thanks.
  13. Hi, I will be traveling to NYC next week. I wonder if you coul recommend any comic shops there worth checking out especially for back issues? Many thanks.
  14. Hi, I am looking for a nice page from James O'Barr's "The Crow" Graphic Novel. All leads would be very welcome. Thanks.
