  1. I usually look at Signature Auction items online but this time I went through the catalogue first. Your auction is not the only one that got a wrong picture in the catalogue I at least noticed 1 more with this error. In both instances the picture that was published is of a previous lot. As others have stated I would take the lower fee (and would try to ask them for an even lower fee than they've offered before accepting). Relisting will only cost you more money if you have taken an advance and people really mostly look at items online as you can get a bigger picture and a look at the complete page instead of only the cropped image.
  2. I definitely think the 375 page was sold for a very low price. It is an anniversary issue and as you said it feaured Ann Weying's 1st appearance. Heritage has had better results IMHO.
  3. overall I'd like to hear people's thoughts on selling at ComicConnect. Would collectors who have consigned to them recomend them to sell art? As a buyer I think I got some great deals on the pieces I won. On others I was interested in the hammer price was just to high.
  4. I received a Jim Towe commission on 1/13/2024 so glad that it arrived before Cadence exploded. I only had to email back and forth since July of last year for them to finally ship it to me. Terible service I really hope most artist jump ship and look for a more reliable rep.
  5. I had an Alpha and Omega cover by Simon Bisley but the experience of getting that cover was not a good one so I sent it off to Heritage for a grail page buy. Yeah the Gabriel ROdriguez art is definitely not readily available.
  6. Hello art collectors of the world. This coming weekend I'll be attending OAX reception party and I've selected some pieces in my collection to take to the event that will be for sale and or trade. Feel free to take a look and contact me if you find anything of interest. Tim Guerrero's OAX art FOR SALE/TRADE Among the pages I have some art by Tradd Moore, Jeff Dekal, Ron Lim, Guillem March, Ryan Ottley, Daniel Warren Johnson, Gary Frank along with several others.
  7. I'm sure the piece will go even higher before the auction ends. Primo art gets primo prices.
  8. I like several pages of what you have posted thus far but that shouldn't surprise anyone as your collection is top notch! If you are open to trades I'll go by your table.
  9. I'm thinking about bringing some of the Incredible Hulk prelims I have for Planet Hulk by Aaron Lopresti that you and JadeGiant were interested in.
  10. I also have this copy of the Jim Lee X-Men Artist Edition Limited Variant cover by FanExpo signed by Jim Lee and authenticated by JSA. The book itself is a low number, this copy being 006/125 that I will also be looking to sell or trade to any interested parties. This variant cover is much more limited than the IDW variant cover and having Wolverine ready to battle Omega Red on the cover should make this book highly coveted by collectors. If you would like to purchase/trade any of the art I'm bringing or this book send me a private DM to make arrangements and reservations. You can definitely count o nthat any sales will be used towards art pruchases at OAX!
  11. I'm also bringing some art from an artist from El Salvador who has been published in the US by Dynamite mostly but also by Image and Marvel and DC, his name is Ivan Anaya. These are the pages I'll have with me at the show for any one interested in purchasing:
  12. I'm bringing an Itoya full of art that will be trade bait and for sale. This is what I have so far:
  13. for me it does. they tell me the artist isn't answering emails so they don't know when they'll get my commission that is 100% fully paid for.
  14. Attend OAX. Hopefully downsize a little at OAX. Finishing paying for pending art. Stop buying new art.
  15. OP is asking for insight on dealer trade ins and that is my personal evaluation on my trade ins with Romitaman and Anthony. I've also done trade ins with a dealer in Ireland but I didn't share that insight. You may not agree with my POV but it is what it is as there doesn't exist a predetermined formula for OA trades be it with a dealer or with another collector.
  16. I'm sure it would have been different if I had shown the art before owing him money already. And I didn't pay cash because I didn't want to. I am continously monitoring auctions and sale prices for art so I think I have a good grasp on what a piece is worth.
  17. I've done a couple of trades with Mike Burkey and overall I was satisfied with the results on both ocassions. I did 1 deal with Anthony in order to pay for a DD win and wasn't really happy with that deal. Since I already owed Anthony I think he might have taken advantage of that when pricing the art I gave him in exchange but it is what it is.
  18. I would also appreciate this information Alex. Is she the same restorer that did some work for Bill Cox?
  19. Heritage shill bidder? I didn't know he owned part of CAF interesting.
  20. I sold 1 piece yesterday. I've missed the last 2 CALive events and never sold anything DURING the events but putting pieces for sale there later rewarded me with the 2 highest sales I've ever made. Bought nothing as I am saving for OAX.
  21. if this lawsuit gets a favorable outcome will it mean other buyers could potentially sue auction houses to? not just for NFT's but for real art.
  22. No worries. Another collector already reached out and bought them already.
