  1. That’s the one. I LITERALLY haven’t seen a single example without it, even in 9.8 but there seems to be varying degrees to the scuffing and color loss. The same flaw also affects the rear of the book around the same area of the staple. CGC must be making allowances for it being as all (that I’ve seen) 9.8s and below have the same issue.
  2. Despite there being plenty of 9.8s available, I don’t EVER recall seeing one without scuffing towards and around the top left staple. Has anyone here ever seen one without this flaw?
  3. Hello all. I just picked up a lovely (seemingly 7.5/8.0) example of GSFF4. What's not so lovely - and that I failed to spot at the time of purchase - was a 1.5"+ tear running vertically adjacent to the spine, on the rear cover. It's a neat cut, almost like a razor. I subsequently found a few other examples on eBay that display the same issue. My question is, if this is to be considered a manufacturing defect, how harshly is this flaw to be judged if it occurred at the point of origin? Cheers in advance, Nick.
