  1. Here's one you don't see every day–or ever see, really: the top-graded of only 9 Spanish-language ASM #1s on the census. Published just three months after the US edition, making it one of the most contemporaneous foreign editions ever printed. https://www.comicconnect.com/item/976454
  2. These are Indonesian editions of the first three Star Wars comics. It looks like Indonesia was in a transitional phase of newsstand comic pricing back then, too: the two 1978 issues in this set are priced at 300 Rupiah while the final 1979 issue was bumped up to 400 Rupiah. Not sure if that was closer to 30¢->35¢ or 35¢->50¢
  3. Ever seen the 300 Rupiah variant of Star Wars #1?
  4. Probably not the most valuable, but this foreign set was definitely my most sought after over the last four years: an unlicensed trilogy of Star Wars adaptations from 1978-79, entirely repainted/redrawn by Indonesian comics legend Jan Mintaraga. Pretty impossible to guess what they're worth–as you might expect for books whose CGC Census totals are 1, 3, and 2 copies total, the sales history on these editions is largely non-existent. (And these are the highest graded copies!) So I figured I'd throw them onto eBay as a dollar auction and find out: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134209889987
  5. EBAY LINK: https://www.ebay.com/itm/134209889987 The rarest and probably the strangest Star Wars variant in the actual universe, this unlicensed trilogy finds Jan Mintaraga, one of Indonesia's most stylish comic artists, performing a panel-by-panel adaptation of Howard Chaykin's first three issues. These comics are hard to find in any condition, much less copies worthy of slabbing: this is essentially the best I could do over 5 years of active Google-translated Facebook-trading. No clue on what they're worth, or if many/anyone wants them–but whoever walks away with this lot will truly have the most insanely rare Star Wars comics on Earth. The CGC Census totals on these are 1, 3, and 2 copies total!
