Any classic Flash Christmas covers out there? I can't recall any and I'm too lazy to dig through the archives at the moment. Lol! I'll check tomorrow but may by one of you will beat me to it?

2018 guide says 123 at 2.0 $241 4.0 $482, 6.0 $723, 8.0 $1988. Its become such a hot book that it often sells above book value. I sold both of my copies in the 90's before things heated up. I wish I could have saved one, but alas...if I had to guess your copy looks to be somewhere in the 4.0-5.0 range. Its so great to see one!

If you want to share some more pictures of it and let us grade it for you. I will look it up in the current price guide tonight and give you an estimate of its current value.

Dont know if you've checked recently but I'd be willing to bet that 123 is worth at least $800+

Here's a shot of Don with my friend Jeanette on the roof of his West Oakland loft after the Adeline place was sold out from under the tenants. Great visit that time in 2006 I believe. It would be my last visit with Don. Miss you buddy!

That makes me wonder who's still with us from that era? Carmine's gone, John Broome is gone, Mike Esposito passed on a couple of years ago. Is Ross Andru still with us? How about Novak and Bates , I bet they are still with us?

It will be an amazing collection!!! I believe you posted your Showcase 13 here a while back. I may try and get those as well one day, but it will have to wait until after I put everything else together. Next year I will be looking to pick up a few of the keys. Maybe 123 or 139, a 105 in 1.0 or 0.5 condition? We'll see what's available. This year was the year I filled in all the gaps, getting everything but those last 40 from the 1980's.

I've got almost everything but the keys at this point. I do need the last 40 Or so but those will be easy to get (301-349). I am hoping that one day I will find a .5 105 like yours. May I ask how much I can expect to pay for a book like that. And as a follow up was it more difficult to find in "affordable" shape?

Found this at my local comic shop Saturday. I don't know how long it will take to sell but if your interested I can give you the details. I'm not sure how they handle mail order sales.

Last year, I don't know if you saw it on MCS they had a 117 from the Thompson collectiion $3500 I think? Pretty to look at but waaay out of my price range. Any 10 cent Flash pick up is a cause for celebration!!! What did you do? Have a cigar? A glass of fine wine? Ice cold beer?

Some of the early boards (card board etc) the books were better off without them. Gotta be acid free😀
