  1. That books at least a 8.5 IMO unless there's something we can't see.
  2. Don told me once he got a huge chunk of his collection from a man named Sidebottom. He had passed away and Don bought it from his widow. He joked about the movers trying to figure out how to carry the boxes because every box had "Sidebottom" on it.😄
  3. That's very true! I used to tell him "you should charge more! That price guide You're using is 10 years old!" he would just chuckle because I knew nothing about undergrounds. " were grateful to have a guide at all. Before this there was no price guide" I could not believe it, and that's when I started to learn about undergrounds.
  4. Thanks! Next time I see Dan post I'll ask him. I got almost all my UG's from Don. I did not even know about undergrounds until I met Don! Lots of fond memories of him. He was a true friend and a great guy. He could tell you everything about those early runs. I wish I'd written it all down!
  5. This year I was able to find 'It ain't me babe' Trina Robbins book with others at MCS. I miss very much my old friend Don Donahue who had that amazing underground catalog and mail order sercice! Does anyone out there know where his collection went?
  6. I would give it a 5.0. Great book! Thanks for sharing!
  7. Those appear to be some stains, or minor soiling on the copy you have there. I did a quick check on line and did not see them on other copies of #155. Even with the soiling its a great book to have! Nice find!
  8. I will agree mostly with Gnasher. I would say as they are copy D is a 7 and copy E a 7.5 mostly because of the discoloration and soiling on the back covers. If those could be cleaned up perhaps each could go 1 grade higher. Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to see how they turn out!
  9. What was it that made those 3 so special for you?
  10. Just to have one in any condition is amazing!!! You can always print one out. I saw a 105 recently with a reproduced cover noted and graded CGC .5
  11. Awesome! Share pictures. We want to see those 3 buddies together at last!
  12. Wow!!! Very nice copy! Just beautiful! White Mountain? I've heard about this pedigree but I don't know anything about the collection. Was it mostly DC?
  13. Such a treat to see a Golden Age book in this condition! Obviously taken care of through the years. I would grade it at 8.5 but with the bump it could go up to a 9. Thanks for sharing it with us!!!
  14. This book would probably be graded at a 7 without the partiality detached cover. I would have to give it a 5.5.
  15. Very nice! And signed by the famous ink master too!!! Very impressed and jealous( my 107 is coverless. Even so its still one of my favorite books)
  16. I've never seen this. Very interesting!
  17. Yes it's B/W inside. Did he reprint all of the Flash comics ? Could there be more to collect??Its a really cool item!
  18. Does anyone out there know more about this unusual 1970's re print of Flash 15?
  19. The only things I can see are a very slight blunting of the bottom left corner and maybe a color chip on the reading edge by Flash's bandaged foot? I would have given it a 9.4!
  20. I'm so jealous! Where did you find a golden age Flash calendar!!??
  21. I love that cover too! Great perspective!
  22. Speaking of memorabilia, did any of you get a chance to get this bad boy when it came out?
