  1. I never thought of that. But would you spend the money to get em graded or wait until you got 5 to 10 stores?
  2. AHHHH good catch I did not know that. Thank you for that!
  3. I am not going to want to flip it tomorrow or even the next day but 30 40 years down the road maybe. But its kinda what I thought
  4. Hello fellow collectors, Not sure if I am posting in the right area or not but hear goes nothing. My local comic book store has released a Walking Dead #1 issue. The book looks exactly as it did when it was first released the only exception is it has the logo of the local comic book shop in the window. I know its never going to get what the original first print got, but does anyone think it would be worth grading it? Pic of comic attached
  5. thank you for that. I wanted to keep the COA as its at least proof that Its not a fake signaure and just throw in the plastic bag the graded book comes in. I guess a follow up I have is a Blue Lable vs Green label at the end of the considered worthless? I mean I never see a green label on Ebay
  6. I am 100% aware that you need a CGC witness to get the coveted yellow label. With that being I am wondering if anyone has gotten a non slabbed book from the JscottCampbell website and then got it slabbed? if you did would you mind telling me: 1) if you just took the Green label or the blue label with the lesser grade? 2) What did you do with the COA? I know CGC wont slab it with Thank you all in advance for reading and helping out.
  7. Revat, I was planning on doing that Monday when they open. guess that's the only option
  8. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I am trying to submit some books and I was hoping to get the spider-man label on a few books but the option is not showing. I am entering the title as Amazing Spider-Man and Marvel Comics
  9. I dont have a picture of it at this time but I have recently got Amazing Spider #122. I have already submitted this book for grading. Its been with the CGC for a week now. The best I can do for pictures at the moment https://www.ebay.com/itm/Amazing-Spider-Man-122-Death-of-Green-Goblin-VG-F-range-Jul-1973-Marvel-/123427031205?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=rrDY46KYYkGztsXAxP7LchdV0K8%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
  10. I just acquired Amazing Spider-Man #20. I am working on getting it submitted to CGC now.
  11. In all seriousness I do appreciate the advice. As I mentioned in a previous post on this thread I'll probable try the iron idea on a comic from the .50 cent or dollar bin. With that being said I will further add it may be several months if not year(s) before I comfortable enough to do that with a comic I would want to slab I could seriously see me burning a hole into a comic the first few times I even try it. If not having the famed iron burn mark hell I still have a least one shirt that I burnt with an iron. but getting off subject. Anyway wax paper good for cookies not good for pressing comics
