  1. Mike I agree with your sentiment here… but my issue (and I did not see how malicious the comment was) is that once this keeps changing hands with the incorrect description that becomes the “truth” … it’s pretty much my argument with a couple friends who get pencil only published stuffed after market inked. They may not be misrepresenting but once it is misrepresented publicly it is hard to get to the truth,
  2. You know what Gene … one day I hope to be the friend in one of these posts that drops a nugget of wisdom! I’m going to have to figure out how to get into one of your group chats!
  3. I took a big swing at the Quesada Xfactor cover but still fell short (thought it was a good price) but did pick up a few small pages that I thought went very cheap. Big mix of results in the auction overall you can take results and paint a sky is falling or the market is strong picture depending on which way you lean!
  4. I was racing home from work to try to get to that Byrne page lol… someone got a great deal
  5. Burkey said he got it Oax- so there was a stop over in between
  6. There was an email like 2 hours before the lots started ending that said the art is ending tonight.
  7. I have quite a few. Nice way to get some fun art without breaking the bank. Here are a few . Art Adams- Unused for classic X-men 10 Alan Davis Uncanny X-men 444 Alan Davis- a panini Wolverine cover
  8. I wonder who it was? Everyone I saw had prices on everything even the brothers Grimm…. Wonder if it was something someone just got in as trade or something.
  9. Sitting on the plane trying to get back to the comic art mecha that is NJ! While I’m hear I figured I’d share some thoughts and pics.. the show was amazing! @Bill Cox and team did an incredible job… the thoughtfulness put into what a creator could want was scene. It felt like a show for collectors by collectors. Where there things to learn from being the first run.. of course! I had a great show.. I set up in the collectors island area with a few friends and was suprised how much I sold., also suprised how much I bought lol.. even made a trade, so I hit the trifecta! But even better was all the collectors I met in person for the first time that I’ve known on line forever. Every collector I spoke to had good things to say. Sooo I am also friends with some of the art reps and a couple artists and they also unanimously had good things to say… seems to have been a win all around. I’ll be there again. some pics of the stuff I came home with and just some of the debauchery! Any questions let me know
  10. I’m tight with Larry T- he has some family stuff going on but I made him aware of your email.
  11. I’ll be there- Saturday night is the auction that I think starts at 530
  12. Dr Balls, I’ve had luck with Mark Farmer- Larry Tun reps him you can find Larry on Facebook or Caf Scott Hanna- easy to deal with I’ve reached him through Facebook or at shows Mark Morales- awesome guy awesome inker and also a OA collector - Instagram or Facebook
  13. Seems like the oa market popped a blue pill because I saw no softness today ! the platinum part obviously wasn’t exciting but is that a result of art that wasn’t really “platinum level”?
