  1. Bradd is super responsive so I'm very surprised to hear this - HOWEVER, I don't think he checks CGC forum DMs or IG DMs as frequently as he does his Facebook messages. I usually get a response within 12 hours, assuming it's a weekday. He also recently updated his website and has submission forms on there - I wouldn't give up just yet. I've used him for dozens of shows now and he's been routinely faster and turnaround times than any other facilitator. He's also great for these smaller Texas shows - no other facilitator ever goes to those.
  2. Anyone know if any CGC facilitators/witnesses will be attending FanExpo Cleveland? The roster isn’t huge by any stretch but Mike Gustavich is slated to be there and he’s not a name that comes up very often.
  3. Anyone know of any facilitators attending FanExpo Portland? Some pretty good names there that don’t come up often (eg, Chris Warner).
  4. Denys Cowan went from GEI to QC to in my hands basically in the course of the long weekend! Isherwood finally moved too! Entered GEI today.
  5. My Jim Salicrup signature & remarque shipped earlier in the week and will arrive tomorrow. Went from SFG to shipped in under 12 days! My Denys Cowan book got to GEI a couple days ago so hoping that will ship before the weekend. Still no movement on my Isherwood book (sig & remarque) and Gleason is still nowhere to be found on my list (although CGC confirms receipt of the package).
  6. That's surprising... mine was both pressed and remarqued. Moon Knight #1... kinda wish I had gotten is back two weeks ago because Sal Velluto was here in town and I'd have loved to get him to sign it along with Chuck.
  7. My Chuck Dixon book went from SFG on 8/8 to Shipped in a week so apparently that signing happened. My Jim Salicrup book finally hit my submissions page and has been SFG as of 8/16. My Denys Cowan book is still in SFG as well since 6/20 but I'm hopeful this will start moving soon since they posted pics of this signing a few weeks ago. Anyone heard anything about the Geof Isherwood signing? That one should've happened a bit ago but there's been no posts by CGC on the matter.
  8. Anyone see or hear anything on the Jim Salicrup or Geof Isherwood signings? I think the cutoff dates were some time ago so was curious when these signings were actually taking place.
  9. @MattM CS just following up- was this ever located? I tried reaching out to Lorraine again but she has not returned the voicemail I left for her earlier in the week.
  10. My books have only stayed in QCF for a max of two days this year so I think you're in good shape.
  11. Thanks Matt... for what it's worth, I've been talking with Lorraine for a couple months on the issue. Look forward to figuring this out!
  12. I submitted a book for the Mark Brooks signing last fall (a remarque) and despite repeated attempts to call and get info, I'm still as lost today as I was 6 months ago. Order number was 3923724. Last time I called, I was told that it was showing as at CCS but CCS didn't actually have the book because they had it still outstanding and not signed. Oddly enough, when Mark was here in Dallas back in February, I asked him if he had completed all his sketches and remarques and he said he still had 10 or so remarques to go.
  13. My Last Ronin #1 signed by the whole team just shipped today! (Side note: 9.8! Honestly assumed I had a fingerprint or something on it somewhere so I was expecting a 9.6... very pleased here!)
  14. My Bingham book went from GEI --> QC --> shipped in a matter of two hours today. I had a remarque and pressing on mine, for what it's worth.
  15. My Claremont books just shipped today, I believe I had pressing on all 3. Last Ronin team is still "Received at CSS" Jerry Bingham (w/ remarque) - SFG Jon Bogdanove (not sure this signing has happened yet) - "Received at CCS" And the one that really kills me is that I still have a Mark Brooks remarqued book from last fall still outstanding. I've called CGC several times and supposedly they're trying to find where the book is because CCS says it's done but the other side of the company says it still hasn't been signed yet. So that's fun.
  16. Damn I didn't even see that!!! Now I just need to find a facilitator for that show...
  17. CGC won't be there itself but I imagine Dork Buzz will be on site to facilitate/witness. @Dork Buzz seems to be pretty omnipresent at Texas-based shows. I just wish Comicpalooza would add more comic guests... they're an embarrassment to "big" comic cons. I think they ONCE had Claremont and David Finch but that was years ago. They get one "medium-size" name a year and then a bunch of "who?" artists and writers.
  18. You might be a good source of info for a question that has plagued me for the past few years - does Alice Cooper do these shows ever?
  19. I sent a note to BotCon's FB messenger account and they said they were checking into it... doesn't sound too promising unfortunately.
  20. Anyone know of a facilitator going to BotCon 2022? I've tried my usual suspects but no takers... Simon Furman will be on this side of the pond for the first time in recent memory and I'd love to get him on some books.
  21. Regarding AoS, Dino prefers just a quick call during business hours when he's in the office and can look up the paperwork. I always get super quick replies when I just give him a ring.
  22. I do chuckle every time I see a "Stan Lee" signed random 90s book that he had zero to do with. Yes, he co-created Spider-Man but come on... having him sign ASM #361? Ridiculous.
  23. Looks like my books moved to "grading/encapsulation" today!!! Woo-hoo!!
