  1. Here are scans of a title featuring two much beloved Disney characters: 25 File copy 27 29
  2. That's an absolutely fabulous cover concept! For decades I spurned the Lois Lane title when it came to buying and collecting comics but covers such as the #59 eventually won me over and now I wish I'd gotten an earlier start on the title.
  3. Here are scans of the five earliest issues of Famous Monsters of Filmland in my collection:
  4. Did you purchase the comic at his table during a convention or was it by mail order?
  5. Do you think the artist on that cover was Russ Manning? I didn't like the Clayton Moore photo covers in the last part of the Dell run. I was therefore glad to see Western Publishing return to doing painted covers for their Gold Key imprint.
  6. That's great news! There is one thing holding me back from posting several dozen scans that I have in inventory. In the following threads I've now ended up talking to myself: SILVER AGE Adventures of the Fly Aquaman Atom Gold Key Green Lantern Harvey Justice League Metal Men Tom & Jerry War That Time Forgot MAGAZINES Drag Cartoons Vampirella Warren Those threads are all really dead despite my most recent efforts.
  7. I'm intrigued by the Quebec edition. Do you know how many different ones were issued?
  8. Wow! That title is right up there with Black Cat when it comes to Harveys from the forties! Great stuff! The colours are so bright. Those Timelys are better than any of the men in tights titles that Timely published in the forties. (thumbs u
  9. That may have been the first cover ever trumpeting a milestone issue! (thumbs u
  10. Scans of five more of my Superman comics:
  11. Here I am checking out the yard sale down the street for forgotten/overlooked treasures: Here I am negotiating prices with the homeowner Tux: On my way home I briefly paused to consider whether Pinky might not be tasty fried and fricaseed: After some consideration I decided he was too tough and scrawny for my delicate palate. Here I am relaxing on the porch with my buddy Sooty prior to a supper of fried clams.
  12. Trying to tempt me into the sin of envy, are you?
  13. Thank you! I still have several dozen scans to share and over a thousand worthwhile comics to scan.
  14. Those are nice ones! Are you trying to assemble the entire run?
  15. I love cat covers! Here are scans of another half dozen of my House of Secrets comics: Northland copy
  16. Here are scans of five more of my Batman comics: The #150 was the first Batman comic I ever purchased as a kid.
  17. Oh wow! I like that #266! (thumbs u
  18. What the hell were those graders at CGC smoking when they gave both those comics the same 8.5 grade? The #111 looks like crud compared with the #106. Does providing "objective" grading mean the grading has to be objectively and abjectively out to lunch?
  19. That's a very decent copy for the price! (thumbs u As a kid I obtained a copy of #112 through trade. I don't have one these days though.
  20. While we're waiting for Aquaman to rise again, here are scans of three more of my Aquaman comics: As a young fellow, I had a subscription to Aquamn from issues #12-21.
  21. That'll teach him to wear shorts when he's out fighting crime! Here are scans of five more of my World's Finest Comics:
  22. Well I suppose the last one he posted was low grade but generally the comics Frozentundraguy posts are solid mid grade copies.
  23. Here are scans of four more of my Strange Adventures comics:
  24. Here are scans of two more of my World's Finest Comics:
