  1. These are phone images again but they should suffice for this - seems to be a bit of a ding, not a tear
  2. Yeah these will all probably recieve a press before they get graded. I haven't been around for a little while but I know there were some board members that offered a pressing and submission service at some point in the past, is this still a thing? Or has CGC put a stop to advertising those services on the boards seeing as they do it in house now? Am I better off just submitting them to CGC myself and getting them to do the pressing? Sorry for all the questions - times have changed in the last year or two since I went on a collecting hiatus...
  3. I will have to double check when I get home, i didnt notice it when I had the book out, but I can see what you are talking about in this image. As I said in my other thread I'll do better in the future with photo quality, I just used my phone for these. I don't own a scanner but my wife is a professional photographer so I have the tools; she would be ashamed of me for these images
  4. Sorry mate, just used my phone as that's what I had on hand - I'll do better in the future Appreciate everyone chiming in with their thoughts! If the whole set grades above 9.0 in your humble opinions would it be worth grading to sell? Or just sell raw?
  5. Hey lads and ladies, I'm in the market for a mid-lowish grade x-men 101 and came across this. The seller has given a rough grade of 5.0 but I was wondering if that massuve crease brings it down lower than this to maybe a 4.0 at best? Sorry for the poor quality images, this is all that was available. I just want to make more of an informed decision with regards to the price they have it advertised for. I haven't had much luck finding another copy within my price range that will ship to Australia so I'm keen to jump on it but maybe I'm just too eager haha.
  6. I feel like this comment was overlooked. Well played sir.
  7. This is not mine (I saw it on reddit a couple of days ago), but I'm planning on doing something simmilar when I get a chance: https://imgur.com/gallery/HIcNW My missus really doesn't like longboxes either so this should keep her and me happy. As for cgc comics, ikea has photo rails that look like they work fairly well. I'm sure someone has a link for the CGC case wall mounts that are around too - I couldn't find them.
  8. I think it has more to do with it being a recalled comic more-so than the content... But because it's such an unusual content mishap, that definately adds to the collectability. It doesn't bother me either way though. There will always be a niche market for recalled comics.
