  1. I know a lot of people were not happy with that. Also a lot of tough grades that upset people.
  2. Yes I think that is likely the case. Unless they “unvault” another one then its safe to assume 4 new ones later this month. Personally im shocked a few are still going strong like moon knight.
  3. They posted somewhere the black panther, jane foster, spider-gwen and miles morales.
  4. Looks like you guys spilled the beans on the 4 that are retiring. Was hoping more would be phased out but I understand the popular ones are good to have around. I for one have been making use of the unvaulted spidey.
  5. They should have kept submissions open for longer if they knew his date was not going to be set in stone. This may be the only time to get his signature for awhile.
  6. This guy is already on my block list. Checkout his feedback as a seller put a negative in the positive comments. Dude is some miami scumbag buyer.
  7. Considering the fact that a grader/employee has a pending lawsuit brought forth by cgc for stealing books, subbing them under his own account and then listing on ebay I think its safe to safe your books are not as safe as you think. Like others have said at a certain point consider it lost and take it up with them for compensation. It has not happened to me but certainly appears to happen enough to be a concern.
  8. Thats the rub. Let someone else take the hit. I have seen books listed for super high prices until eventually the seller comes down to reality. No one is getting fooled anymore after the implosion in comic prices post 2021. Also no one is submitting books when the resale value is minimal and there is no guarantee to a certain grade. I preach patience to the auto/ sig series collectors at this point. What you are after will eventually make its way to eBay.
  9. That has been my issue as well. I see the books being submitted and know that someday those books will have to be sold off. As soon as they are submitted they lose value. Spawn #1 for the McFarlane signing lost 20% of its value as soon as he touched it. The cenus numbers swelled like crazy. No signer is immune from this effect. Eventually the market becomes so saturated. Still there is $ to be spent and you will see if it is modern it needs to be a 9.8 and signed by Stan Lee to be a true investment. Other than that, submit if you want but its a losing proposition with how many #s are being submitted and how soft the market is. This doesn't even take into affect the likelihood CGC is knowing or unknowingly practicing pop control on 9.8s....
  10. Just speculation but it seems a bit like the off-season but also comics have tanked so much that they are at pre-covid prices and even below that now due to the excess supply of signed stuff. I think a lot of these individuals struck while the iron was hot so to speak and know now that the boom is over. Basically I think cgc might find it hard to find people to come sign as its not worth their while. I see books on ebay sitting with no bids for a super low price…
  11. I disagree in this case as someone was stealing and got caught. We dont know how well he did or didn’t grade but we may find out. The bottomline is we dont know enough about the cgc process but we do know a piece of chit stole customer’s books. Cgc has never outright stolen anything. Thats so incredibly wrong that I have a hard time understanding how someone could be that horrible of a person.
  12. They are correct and they are scum. Their lives will be ruined because they are insufficiently_thoughtful_persons and the absolute worst to steal from so many.
  13. I dont get how dumb these people could be. The number of charges they are facing along with their lives being ruined..grand felony . They very well could see jail time for up to 15 years for comic books. They had a job, a good job too. Unbelievable.
  14. The last signing was the greatest devaluing of a signature in history. I for one am hoping he doesn’t sellout for another cash grab. I went ahead and sold all my signed books of his anyways aside from his rare Platinum #1.
