  1. CGC refusing to facilitate Miller + Claremont signings while the book is @ their facility is just plain frustrating To CGC Staff & Management: This is a real bummer and makes it very inconvenient and costly for your customers. Can someone at CGC explain why a book can't be signed by Frank Miller on one day, then carefully stored until Claremont arrives, and on his day it's brought out of storage so Chris can sign it too? I know you can do this if it's something that would benefit your customers, right? We would really appreciate it if you would reconsider your policy here. Honestly, please make a special case for Claremont & Miller here and let's try prototyping if this can work for future signings. Please take this request to the highest level in management at CGC. I would love to hear from that person on this forum. Thank you!

  3. Hey guys, I am bound and determined this year to bring my pre-graded CGC 9.4 slabbed collection of X-Men 94 through 101 In addition to about 10 other X books to get signed at ECCC by Chris Claremont. I have a CGC account and have dropped raw books off at their booth to get graded and slabbed in the past but have never went through the signature witness stages yet with the author/artist so am unfamiliar with the process. I could not find info about how this works on CGCs site so I’m hoping you can all enlighten me. It’s important for me to understand this because I will basically be hauling a heavy Box in with me at the show so it’s a big worry for me. Do I first bring my box of 17 pre-graded slabs to the CGC booth and then they crack them all out of the cases right there and then we walk them over with me to get signed? Then what happens once they are signed so that they are reslabbed? Do they get reslabbed at the show with the yellow label later that day or are they taken back to CGC headquarters after the show to be slabbed with the yellow label? Appreciate hearing from everyone with their experiences about this process!!! Thanks! Nick
