I hope not. Let's see. Should have it by today. I will post better photos and post again here to compare. 

Seller is stating this is a 9.6. Want to purchase this next day or two. Looks NM to me. But if you notice anything that stands out like to know.

Looking at the top left and right corners...The waviness I notice could not be flat.

Hi - I am looking to pick up an eternals #1 to my collection. The seller is stating it is a 9.2.. I don't think it is a 9.2. I asked for inside pictures and will update that as soon as I get it back. For now just have the cover and back. Any input helps. Thank you.

Overstreet F 6.0 allows moderate color breaking creases (check), blunted corners (these are mostly sharp), minor staining, soiling, discoloration(light tanning of back cover), foxing, minor spine roll, 1/4" spine split or severe color break, minor staple tears, slight stress lines (check), minor rust migration. tan to brown pages (this is better).  This copy has a few of these defects, and lacks many of the more common defects for the grade.  Unfortunately, this book is a notoriously terrible presenter with the dark shiny black cover, and therefore usually gets dogged worse than it really should. I own 4 copies of this book that are relatively higher grade (7.0 - 8.5), but I still don't like the way any of them look.

It's funny you mentioned the way it looks. I see what you mean the darker colors. I've noticed some sellers take really bright photos and do some photo editing to make what adam warlock is wearing stand out more. Think brightening the color of what he is wearing. 

I am actually having a fun convo with this seller now. Took it down some more.

Yeah, I am with you. The seller is pushing saying "Near Mint" haha. He is asking $110 for it too!.

What you do think? The seller is stating it is a 8.5. I am thinking more like a 7.0. All the scans attached below. Like to get your thoughts..

Yeah, when the seller says highly recommend to buy it is always shady.
