  1. Been eyeing this one for a while, finally pulled the trigger. Just realized the illustration is from schomburg. Just posted on because it caught my eye flipping through 😄
  2. I wish planet comics were this affordable 😄 Do you think surviving copies of the comics are more or less numerous than the pulps?
  3. I'm surprised they haven't gone the 90s route with hologram and glow in the dark cases They just skipped right to variant labels
  4. I hope I didn't win one you were after, I won 2 low grade books on Sunday, a pep and a Broadway nights
  5. Cap 332. As a kid I loved cap from that era, and read most of the books up to and after he hung up the uniform in 332, but at $10 at the time the book was out of my price range and I don't think my shop even had a copy. Always wanted to read it, as it was a monumental part of the story with an iconic cover. Bought it as an adult and the story was trash
  6. Went to put this book i just got on the shelf, turns out I already had a copy 🙃
  7. I'm eyeballing some of the terror and horror stories, but HA auctions seem to hit unusually high prices. There are a couple "restored" copies I might have a shot at 😇
  8. *sigh* Time to add French night life back to my watch list 😄
  9. Seems likely. Unrelated but I appreciate that the seller is disclosing that the book it's pressed.
  10. Planet Comics? Googled around, Wikipedia has this as the first Sci fi strip, running from 1907-11. Features a martian observing humans. Thought it was cute
  11. Sorry to hear you didn't walk away with any books. That Lariat end price is impressive, whoever got the vg copy from mcs earlier this month for $60 is probably pretty happy.
  12. Sampling of results from yesterday's HA. I'm a little surprised at the issues of Indian Stories from the late 40s in vg going for over 100.
  13. Adventure House is doing a black friday sale, 15% off orders, free shipping for orders over $30. Some fun books like this LOC copy of civil war stories.
