+1 I wish everyone in the hobby felt the same. +2. Oh god, +2. Has anyone else had to completely avoid a dealers table because there was one gentlemen there (either dealing, or buying) producing such an odour you couldn't be near? More than once. I like being able to go behind the table to get a closer look at wall books but a big part of that is because I'm getting old and my distance vision isn't as good as it used to be. But if I want to examine a book I'm thinking of buying, I always ask the dealer to take it out of the bag. Likewise, I'll ask them to return the book to the bag if I'm not going to buy it. I buy lots of golden age so examination of the book is a must. I want to check the paper quality and count pages. It's best done behind the table, away from the crowd.

I hate to hear that this isn't an easy book to find because my first thought on seeing that cover was: WANT. That's a great-looking book.

I purchased this yesterday from Brian over at A-1. I shouldn't have because after moving my girlfriend in and buying the Fight 31, my finances are severely strained, but I had horrible visions of this beauty getting sold at San Diego, thus preventing it from residing in casa Sean. Of the late Fights, I rarely see this one and if I do, it's not as nice as this copy.

There are several tough ones, just wondering which issues would you consider "tough" or tougher? 31 is very tough. I've been the bridesmaid on that book more times than I care to count. 35 is about the same, but doesn't command as high a price. Most of the issues between 30 and 37 are hard to get. 38 is easy. 39 and 40 are tough. 41-48 are easier but still desireable. 49 and 51 are easy-peasy, as are most issues to the end of the run. There was a warehouse find of 70s, so Vinny over at Metro probably uses them to line his birdcage and light his cigars. I don't see the last issue much, but it's out there. Pre-30, most of the 20s (including 19, first Senorita Rio) are harder to find, but easier than the 30s. 29 seems to be the easiest. 20 seems to be out there, but not in higher grades. 28 is also fairly obtainable. I haven't looked much lately, but I don't recall seeing a 24 for sale recently. That may be my next stumbling block. The general rule seems to be that women in bondage are harder to find and if the woman is a nurse, the difficulty increases. The first issue is easy, pretty much a matter of money. There's multiple issues out there for sale as I type. I don't know about 2-18 because I haven't been monitoring them as my focus until recently was on 19-48. I recall people here commenting that some of the issues are harder to find than others. The Fight run should be a run that the average GA collector can complete because it has no Gerber 9s or 10s like Jumbo (or Planet?). The big barriers are 31 and 35. All of this is pretty much off the top of my head. I invite others to supplement or amend this information.

#31 & #35 are my favorites. That's definitely the most extreme blood-spurting decapitation cover. (thumbs u How many other blood-spurting decapitation covers are out there?

From our pal alanna. Sometimes I think I ought to just mail him my credit card and skip PayPal altogether. With this acquisition, chasing a Fight run is back on the table. There's a few more pesky issues in the 30s and some early numbers to find, but other than that I have all the tough issues.
