  1. I feel like I asked my LCS recently (in the last year) where a good starting point was and I believe they told me issue 100. To be fair, I never did go back and check though.
  2. He holds various colors in his non-dominant hand and swaps them in and out to form the signature. It is more art than sig imo.
  3. I have it on a print and it is absolutely stunning. I didn't pay $175 though. Call me a fanboy though, cause if I had a book I wanted him to sign, I would gladly pay the $175 if it fit the book. Love what you love.
  4. His pricing has changed over the past 2 years. Here is the pricing from his 1st two "tours" in 2020, this does not include any CGC fees. Here is the current tour pricing, also not including CGC fees. He also has a new Crain label as well to coincide with this new tour. The closest shop to me charges $65 per book, includes fast track, and an additional $25 in shipping for the 1st book and $5 each additional. So he is likely getting anywhere from $40-$60 per sig and the remarque I would guess much more, $200-$250? All just guestimates.
  5. Oh no! Who is stu and why was he deleted? Sounds like a terrible fate.
  6. I have to agree adding that the rippling at the top definitely appears to be more water damage. 3.0 is likely a closer grade than mid at this point with the added photos. It sure was loved (or hated) by someone.
  7. Imagine how unsuccessful it was for that thief..... I hope all the people he hit got their stuff back!
  8. Uhmmm OH YES! Alan Quah, the Miranda Bros, Jim Lee (again!), Donny and Megan Cates. WOO
  9. Can't see much of the spine but I would put that firmly in the mid-grade with all that soiling.
  10. I can attest that Addy is (in my honest opinion) the king of 2nd and 3rd appearances. That is normally my 1st question when he asks me if he should get this book or that book. About the original topic, I have my grail, Iron Man 55 (CGC 6.0). The next in line I will likely hunt is a decent copy of Marvel Graphic Novel, Death of Captain Marvel (1st Print). I have a 9th print currently. Or maybe a better copy, not water damaged, of Captain Marvel vol 1 #28.
  11. 5.0 to 5.5 is 1 point. 5.5 to 6.0 is another point = 2 points. 5.0 to 4.5 is 1 point. 4.5 to 4.0 is another point = 2 points. That give you a better explanation?
  12. I literally went through the other signup and was trying to grab people that jumped out. I could have sworn you had already signed up. My bad!
  13. Shhhhhh! There are a couple of us around these here parts.
  14. @flashlites@thirdgreenham@Hudson@1Cool@onlyweaknesskryptonite@WEBHEAD@sckao@Galen130 Heads up ya'll
  15. Well that is certainly an "ask and ye shall receive" list.
  16. The bend can be pressed but the color break will still be there. There is no way to fix the break in color (without getting a purp).
  17. Grader's notes are optional and from my understanding the acetate pages have damage to relate to the grades the labels received. So while it is an "invisible book" there is indeed a "reason for the season". Bad Idea is all about gimmicks, they have proven and continue proving that. I think you are mistaking action taken and the reporting of said action taken. CGC really doesn't owe us any response to what they do or have done in regards to someone else's property.
