Maybe these contests should feature books that have many copies graded or at least a couple copies at every grade from 3.0-9.0? It could eliminate this "strategy" that I am sure some people use from being that successful. I like trusting my gut and studying years of images on ebay and through the good old grading guides. I am excited to see how I fare in the big one Now to scrounge up a prize for you all to consider...

I was with ya on the 4.5 for Captain Science...and shot too low on the Batman 227 I bullseyed the Black Cats though

I think 7.0 but the edges seem tan...I dunno if that will lower it or have less of an effect.

I had been reading a post by @Dan'el about Fantastic Four issue 201 where the upper right corner should clearly be red but is actually yellow. An obscure printing error and neat to see. Well, I was flipping through my collection, doing some sorting and noticed another book with a similar flaw...Devil Dinosaur #3. The bottom right hand text bubble should have a red background but it ends up that the section is yellow. I borrowed some pics from ebay. There are two I can see for sale, one graded one not. The rest look like this, with the background of that bottom blurb correctly coloured. Just thought I would share since I could not find record of it

7.5-8.0 from me as well. The wear to the corner is the major drawback but still great eye appeal

I come across these often in the wild, and I assume that they are the more common ones. If anyone needs any in particular let me know and I can see if a local place has any for sale!

Does anyone know if there is a way to find our if John Romita is going to be at any conventions this year? Or a way to contact him or the people who represent him about sending in a book to be signed? I have a book I would really like to have his signature on because I already have Stan's and Gil's on it and I want all three. Not looking to have witnessed or CGCed, just signed by John and perhaps a certificate of some kind (since I will likely be unable to do this in person).
