  1. Hi everyone, Im trying to clean out some stuff. First claim gets it. Offers are welcome. As I am in Canada, I can ship 1-2 comics for $5.50 USD. 3-5 comics costs $8.50USD but please note this DOES NOT COME WITH TRACKING! I have never had an issue before shipping this way but if you do want tracking it costs around $15USD. If you buy more than 5 comics it automatically will have to be tracked due to the size of the parcel. Paypal only for payment please. Please let me know if you have other questions. Thanks and hope you find some deals!
  2. The white seems a bit off coloured. I would safely say 6.5 maaayyybeee 7.0 after a press which should iron out some of the creases on the backs cover.
  3. Traded for this the other day. I think I made out pretty good. Couple printing creases on the front and one on back. Slight wear along bottom edge of front cover as seen in the pics. Any thoughts on the grade are much appreciated!
  4. I love every inch of this book. The date stamp is killer. As is a 3.5-4.0. Not sure a press could even it out a bit as that would def bump you a bit higher I think.
  5. I am at 6.5 with outside shot at 7.0. Nice book!
  6. I wasn’t scammed. I was told after the fact. I originally needed it for my run and variant or not, I’m just looking for a grade on it because high grade copies sell for decent money and I’m considering flipping it if people think it has that potential.
  7. I will also say t hat I bought an Overstreet Grading Guide and studied it. Grading comes with experience. If you are just starting out, familiarize yourself with one of the Overstreet guides. This will allow you to at least narrow down a wide range such as your Fair/Poors, Goods, Very Goods, Fines and Very Fines After that, experience will hone your skills. If you are selling and are worried about assigning a bad grade, just include lots of pictures. Notate any flaws such as creases, rips, tears, writing, clipped coupons, stains etc. And let the buyer decide.
  8. So I picked this up last summer for a buck. I was informed that the white dot above MKs hand is a printing error and does not exist on all copies. Not sure if that means it’s more rare or if CGC even cares about it Either way, wondering if (with a press) this could be a 9.8 candidate as I am tempted to grade and sell after seeing what high grade copies go for. I appreciate all thoughts!
  9. I’m also in the 8.0-8.5 camp. Even with that small crease
  10. Yes I will second 4.0-4.5 due to the heavy tanning
  11. I’m at a 6.5. Honest grading by that seller
  12. 4.5-5.0 due to the wear along spine and the crease
  13. They can’t leave negative feedback. I would leave neutral feedback. Still stands out and let’s them know to be more careful next time.
  14. The front bottom right corner? I figured that’s what it was was old tape stains.
  15. I haven’t personally had experience no but as you said, they were stricter. As for taking the old grade into account, I do not know. They should review with fresh eyes and base off their current standards. I have not heard of an old label getting a lower grade when re Graded unless something drastic was missed which is unlikely. At worst it could stay a 3.5 but I think investing in a press and clean could see this hit 4.0-4.5
  16. That’s it for now! Claim away or message to make an offer. $125 tracked and shipped for everything if anyone wants it all.
  17. Master Of Kung Fu 19. Lower grade 3.0-3.5. Spine roll, loose centrefold. Writing on back cover. $1 plus shipping
  18. Archie and Me 3. Lower grade. 3.0-3.5 range. Ink smudge one back cover. $4 plus shipping
