Just watched the first episode. I had never read any of the related comics. The effects are well done, especially with the bank robbery and the one shortly later with A train. Some of the plot turns seem relatively obvious. I thought the acting was good. It certainly did enough to keep me watching.

Loved the 1st 2 Blades. Snipes would show up on Howard Stern shows and do interviews in character. Ali should kill it, loved him as Cottonmouth - best part of Cage. I thought the series really dropped once he was off it

I'd take a stab at 7.5 *without* the water stains with them maybe 6.5 guessing docked a point for the stains

I have an X-Men 94 which ended up having some slight color touch. I was advised that it would cause significant damage to remove it. But I was advised before any work was done. Though that was with joey rather than CCS. I can't seem them making that determination and not notifying the customer before wasting their money.

about a dozen spine tics. Looks like mine - though hopefully you don't find out it has some minor color touch like I found out (at least I bought mine some 30 years ago of the wall of my local LCS. I always wonder if they knew. Maybe it would have lower the price from $20 to $15) I'd guess around 7.0-7.5 congrats on your 1st big purchase!!

I just watched 2 very recent Ebay auctions for Jack Kirby verified sigs on Page 1 (you know that service by the other company) One was Demon 1 8.5 which went for near $600 and the other was a Machine Man 1 9.0 which went for almost $500 Having a Demon 1 with Kirby's sig on the bottom of page 1 made me quite interested in the outcome of that auction.

I've noticed that same effect when I take scans and then enlarge the pic. Suddenly I see a lot more 'tics' which just seem to be reflected light on the NCB creases. Congrats on the grade!

I wonder if they have the IV bags with the new Marvel labels....

4.0-4.5. Thinking stain and tear knocking it down hard

obviously it's in poor shape, maybe in the 2.5-3.0 range seeing that there's no pieces missing on the cover or back, but I think all the creasing and the shape of the spine keeps it under 4.0 a quick look at goCollect puts a 3.0 around $50 so I'd just put it in a mylar/acid free board if it were mine. Still cool to own!

I've never thought about that in the handful of submissions I've made. Since you don't know what side they're going to open, how do you know which is 'top' and which is 'bottom'? You could always put a copy on each side if you're really worried about it.

seems to be around almost a dozen small marks on the spine counting the corners, back cover discoloration along the spine around 6.0-6.5 is my wild guess

Ok maybe that may knock it down another half

I'd lean more towards 6.0 due to how much gloss the cover seems to have lost Is that a tear or crease on the middle left edge of back cover?

I got a pleasant surprise the other week. I sold my 1st comic on Ebay and a few days later i received a $40 coupon. I've been buying semi-regularly over the last handful of months and got a couple of $5 type coupons so I Imagine this was in response to starting to sell

a brief distraction for a serious subject - my wife volunteered at a Crisis Prevention hotline for half a year. There's a phone for the Suicide line and another for other crisis calls. One day she was talking on her personal cell phone when the Suicide line lit up. It has caller ID. As she was telling her friend she had to hang up, she realized the caller ID was her mother's phone number. So she picks up the phone and says "Mom?" Her father was in the hospital at the time and it turned out the Suicide Crisis number was one digit off his room phone number and she must have fat fingered when dialing.

Adding $7 to that total as I'm catching a Sunday matinee. Though this showing won't add too much as I bought mine last second and 95 pct is seats were open
