  1. And I didn’t even know a cleaning was an option. I’ll do some more research on that as well.
  2. Guys, this is a HUGE help! My intention is to sell a few and use those funds to really fund pressing and grading the ones I want to keep in a collection as I move forward. Thinning out the herd a bit so to speak. I have comics that I read as I grew up that may only grade a 5 or 6, but the corners and binding/staples look great, so I think it would help to have the slight kinks on the cover pressed out. What an amazing forum, as I get back into collecting I will be checking in here often. Again, you guys are great and your help is MUCH appreciated! Cheers!
  3. I have collected comics as a kid, collecting in the 80s picking some up from the 70s from older kids in my neighborhood growing up. Some were just not kept well and some actually look surprisingly good. So my question is this, for a normal wear to light use comic, many from late 70s and early 80s, do people presss them all, most, some...if so how do you decide what to get pressed and what not to press. If something is really in what appears to be good shape, given the age and time and non-care in some cases is it reasonable to think every one would benefit from a pressing? I hope this makes some sense.
  4. 9.4 to 5.0. Good luck deciding this time! I’d split difference because of what looks like a touch of spine wear and wear on edges. I’d be guessing an 8-8.5. Wonder if you ask them if a pressing is worth it if they’ll let you know
  5. This is a huge help, thanks guys! Wow! And yeah, Habs suck this year but it may not matter. Cheers!
  6. Let me know what you think this comic would garner for a rating. Just looking to send in a solid first batch with some I will keep and some I will sell to fund getting others graded. Looking to thin the herd and protect my favourites. Thanks in advance.
  7. Let me know what you think, looking closely it had a little strain on the spine I hadn’t noticed prior, but I’d be curious what you think it would rate.
  8. My first submission on this board. I really enjoyed looking at other grades. As I dig into my collection a bit deeper I want to see where some of my comics fit. I have never submitted to CGC but plan to in the next few weeks. I’ll start with this Incredible Hulk comic. Let me know what you think or if it’s worth sending on. I’ll keep it to 3 for the day though. Thanks in advance!
  9. This is awesome, I’d be sending from Canada so extra costs and zero idea which ones to send. This is amazing to help provide context. I’ll add a couple I am having trouble deciding on. Nice to see how this turned out in the end.
