I keep hearing that the weight limit is higher on 1st class, yet I went to USPS and cannot use it on a 14 oz package. I thought it was 15 oz. The service everyone hears about is called 'First-Class Package Service' and is not a service available to retail customers coming into a post office - you can only get this service with a commercial account through ebay, stamps.com, etc.. ** It is not the same thing as first class parcel service you are familiar with. First-Class Package Service can be opened and inspected by the post office like media mail is. There are also certain restrictions on what can be mailed at that rate. I get the option plus discounted postage rates through Paypal shipping. If you've got a Paypal account, you should try it out. What is paypal shipping? Is it a separate website? And can you purchase it to ship to a transaction done outside of payal or is it only for paypal transactions?

FYI: That's no exactly true. I heard ebay offers that option, but If you walk into a post office and try to mail 13oz or higher package first class is not available to you and you must pay the priority mail rate.

I think it would complicate the storyline of Captain America #1 if Bucky was reading the same book with the story itself as he would know about the menacing shadow behind him Action 7 was still 1938 so it was the only title being published then with Superheros in it. I always liked the Richie Rich cover where he's reading comics out of his safe.

I logged in to mention the panel in the Pep Morgan's story Action Comics was also a bondage panel. Thanks for posting the photos.

Two people are reading Action Comics in Action Comics #7. One is a villain in the Pep Morgan story and the second person is reading a copy when Zantara comes up to him.

they give you a monkey?! That's amazing, maybe illegal also. Does anyone know if this was true? I know those adds we're exaggerated back then but still... I want a monkey. Train it to grade my comics. The picture is small, but five Cs could be Cactus, Chair, Carpet, Cage, Cat (I think that might be a cat on the chair) Can't tell what the thing is on the bottom right, but probably another C word. Did they have different puzzles over time or is this a one shot deal?

Yep, $100 in 1945 is almost $1,300 now. Not too hard to see why those bonds are hard to come today - plenty of incentive to trade them in. Actually, the bond was worth less then face value when issued in 1945 - it would take ten years to reach that value. It also earned interest until 1985. (40 years worth) The Bonds are only redeemable to the person on the bond. A quick ebay search for "series E bond" comes up with several unredeemed ones during the WWII years.

Didn't Gertrude ever turn her book in for a bond? I guess not. These aren't mine someone in Canada owns them. From what I understand is they are still redeemable, but only at face value as they are non-interest bearing.

As soon as I saw these today I thought of this thread. I have never seen these before so I thought some of you would be interested in seeing them too.

Did you Photoshop that or was that Rosetta Stone actually printed in a comic? That seemed pretty easy. I guess I don't need my decoder for some things. What about this one? Shoes are rationed so take care of yours dont kick stones or walk in puddles.
