  1. After sending this book back 3 times I finally got the labeling fixed and got it placed in the proper category!
  2. I was given this book a year or so ago just wondering if everyone's ever seen one before? I can't seem to find much about it. It appears to be an original drawing by Sam Keith and it's labeled one of 25. Just wondering if anyone can tell me it's value or any other information that might be interesting thanks.
  3. I have the comic the maxx 1/2. There are four versions of this comic book purple foil, gold foil, red foil, and blue foil logo (on the cover). Mine does not have any foil logo on the cover. I had just got this back from cgc and they labeled it manufactured without purple foil logo. And I'm assuming they put it in the census under the category purple foil logo. I was wondering why this comic book would be labeled under the purple foil logo because it does not have any foil on it whatsoever. My first question is how could cgc possibly know that it was the purple foil version of this comic book? My second question is shouldn't it be in the category the maxx 1/2 and in the sub category titled manufactured without foil logo? Right now it's in the subcategory purple foil logo. How do I get this corrected and have a in its own category labeled manufactured with no foil logo? I've seen other comic books with a similar manufacturing error like venom lethal protector number one there is a Black version and a white version. Both these versions are missing foil on the cover like mine. And they both have their own category in the census. I would think this comic book also deserves to have its own category am I correct in saying this?

  5. I have a Max 1/2 that does not have any foil printing on the cover. They labeled it manufacturer error without purple foil logo and in the census they put this book in with the other comics that do have a purple foil logo. My first problem with this is how do they know it's the purple foil logo? when there are four versions of this comic book purple foil, gold foil, blue foil, and a red foil. my comic does not have any foil on the cover whatsoever. My second problem is why they didn't put it in its own category labeling it Max 1/2 with no foil logo. I've seen other comic books with a similar manufacturing error like venom lethal protector number one . It has an error with a black cover (missing the foil on the cover) and also one with a white cover (also missing foil on the cover). They are both put in their own category in the census and not mixed in with the original venom lethal protector number one with the red foil cover. I guess I don't understand why they would do it for one book and not another. Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me. the first time I sent this book in they didn't even acknowledge that the foil was missing on the cover at all. It all just seems very inconsistent to me I would think that all the greater should be on the same page when grading comic books.
  6. Why is cgc so inconsistent with there grading and census process?
  7. Dumpling? No I did not show this raw. It is exactly the same as the normal copy with the exception of the missing foil. It is a pretty neat book I'm glad I have in my collection.
  8. Cgc messed up. I've sent it back to get corrected.
  9. This is the book in question. Cgc messed up the labeling and created a new category for some reason. I guess they got confused by the cover?
  10. It's this book cgc messed up and put it in its own category.
  11. They also put it in its own category in the census labeling it wizard presents the Maxx. I thought they would put it in with the other variants of this cover. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why they would do that?
  12. I have a Maxx 1/2 with no foil printing on it. I sent itout to cgc to get graded. I just got it back today and saw they labeled it a universal grade. I thought it would be a qualified grade do to the fact there is no foil printing on the cover. So I went to the census to check it out turns out they put it in its own category labeling it wizard presents the Maxx. Instead of putting it with the other variants of this cover. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why they would do this and get any thoughts on if this will effect thevalue of the book good or bad. Thanks
