  1. Received back this week from a 9.8 precreen batch. One of several now ruined books with the same problem.
  2. a 5.0 with similar resto I believe sold for around 12.5K a month or two ago in a comic connect auction. I believe the buyer flipped it for even more money. So that's a good starting point
  3. Haven't sold over there, but have bought a few things issue free. @keep_it_clunky for anyone that wants to connect.
  4. The series got so much right, it really was great. I rewatch it often. And Kilgrave was really good in Jessica Jones, I do think DD will ultimately be lighter in tone once he hits the MCU. At least at first.
  5. Agree with the bulk of what you said, but I would argue it was Daredevil that made Kingpin the formidable villain that he is, and you left out the ultimate DD baddie: Bullseye!
  6. I believe the 111 2nd print is the only 9.8 on the census.
  7. Thanks, this has never happened before, so when did your actual tracking update in the usps system as "delivered?"
  8. Should I be concerned that I have books sitting in the Sarasota post office for 4 days "available for pick up" sitting undelivered to CGC? Is it possible that CGC picked up the books but no one ever scanned them as "delivered?"
  9. Love this book. Very undervalued still. Black cover madness.
  10. Generally, I've noticed a big decline in quality control throughout 2020; books slabbed too tightly, not tight enough, scuffs, debris in case, rings, etc.
  11. Thanks, I may send this back eventually for a reholder. It irks me that it is "wrong" even though it does indicate the resto on the label.
  12. I agree with you overall. Once slabbed, there's nothing you can do. Color touch aside, the slabs conceal a great deal.
  13. This was a bizarre one that I received back from them when they first introduced the specialized labels. Could they not do these in purple, or did they screw up?
  14. I feel like the stigma and negative backlash on ct/resto books (pro or amateur) wasn't as great during the pre-cgc world. There were definitely unscrupulous dealers that did amateur ct to deceive customers, and many of us buying back then were burned. However, nowadays resto books are a great alternative to obtaining what for many are books that are completely out of reach. So I think they have their niche and place. The plods actually perform a great service, they tell the customer exactly what is going on with the book.
