  1. Gotcha, so it's not a shift in how the Power 9 are referenced, just a grading ideal. OK, got it, thanks!
  2. It's not me saying it, but the ghosts in my house say they love you, sir. The grading's gonna happen as soon as I figure out which books I'm submitting for round 1 and as soon as I get over my chickens**t fear about sending these books, lol.
  3. My lists *finally* seem to have been updated. They still are listing out of order, but I would imagine that will get fixed eventually. The big issues (for me) that remain are: not being able to add runs of a book from the list view; not being able to see whether i have copies of issues when searching through a title; The additional clicks this interface has whenever I want to add a book
  4. I checked the book and there's nothing there. I blame the ghosts in my house.
  5. A bit tough from a single photo, and the photo has a lot of jpg artifacts which also make it difficult to analyze. Bottom left corner looks to have a small tear, and there's something along the bottom under the "PE" in Superhero that may be a tear or may be nothing... also looks like some chipping along the right edge in the upper black area and another possibly along the top. I also see a possible spine ding about halfway. Presents very well overall, but I'm not sure what's there that a press would help.
  6. Beautiful copy! Looks like a few minor stress bends in the spine, a little soft around the top left corner and some small issues along the bottom edge. Otherwise really tight. 9.0
  7. Most likely glare. I've yet to perfect my photo set-up, but this spot seems to at least be good for sharper images with truer colors.
  8. This book feels thicker, like it's absorbed some moisture over the years, and that's reflected in the wavyness of the front/back cover on the photos. I'm sure a press will help, but how much? (note the true first appearance of Polaris on the inside front cover...
  9. Doubtful this makes the submission list, but it's fun for the season.
  10. Back then I was buying up 4-8 copies of every X-Men/New Mutants, but nooo, not this.
  11. I'm super skittish about submitting (because I've never done it before), but I definitely will and soon-ish. This book is near the top of the list. FWIW, the book was purchased from Mike's Comic Hut in Queens, who graded it VF, which would actually put it around 8. It's sat in this same mylar back with an acid-free backing board since then until I took it out for photos.
  12. Only thing that sticks out to me a bit is something that looks like maybe a tear or printer's crease top middle, coming down through the 'M' in Comics. Not sure what that is...
  13. My sincerest apologies... I'll make sure I rotate the photos for future PGMs! LOL
  14. This one is going to be painful. Otherwise gorgeous copy but had staple holes top right which someone tried to restore with whiteout and some marker, maybe. It wasn't me, though I did go in and do some amateur restoration on some books, back in the day.
  15. Photos are showing some color loss on black areas on bottom left and right corners that is much less prevalent IRL, fwiw
  16. Assume a press to try to alleviate the top left pressure bends...
  17. I sent in a ticket about the missing books and the rep who got back to me has been very responsive and polite, however my issues with multiple copies of books not migrating remain unresolved.
  18. 10 days in and my lists are still incomplete. My efforts to catalog my collection are stalled, and I'm starting to think I may need to pay for a different service and start over. I'm about 3000 books in out of around 8000. Not happy.
  19. Last one for today. There's little scarier than pulling a book like this or that ASM out of their sleeves for this and then putting them back. Yikes.
  20. My first vintage comics purchase back in the early 80s. I put it on layaway at Mike's Comic Hut in Queens and paid off 5-10 bucks at a time. Total purchase price: $125.
  21. The second copy of this. These were part of a full set plus the extra #1 I pulled from a $0.50 bin way back when. Note the small notch along the bottom right
