  1. Hi, like most collectors I’m interested in collecting what’s important to me. For video games that would be PC, World of Warcraft or the original big box StarCraft. These come in two very different sizes and the collectors edition is even larger. My question is are you looking towards offering this service or actively working on creating a holder for the various PC sizes? If so how long do you think it would be before this offering becomes live?
  2. Yeah I’m good on that bro. I’ve had multiple chances for peach but I want remarks and stuff. Also I don’t trust people who don’t believe me when I order something, I have to track down a mont later to get a $5 book, make me feel like it’s my fault they lost it, me out cuz they lost it and then don’t apologize. So yeah I’ll never deal those those people again. im pretty sure they also spread my name around as a non payer cuz of that too but screw them I’m not sending a $300 book to someone who can’t send me a $5 book until a month later only after I had to contact them and get harassed cuz it’s my fault they lost my order in their mountain of invoices.
  3. My top 3 today in order are: - J.O.Barr - Jim Lee - Jim Starlin who I really want but can’t come - Peach Momoko the reasons: I’m a pretty big Crow fan and my entire crow collection needs to be signed/slabbed, I really want my Samurai Santa signed and my Ironman 55 needs a nice crack, clean and signature. Also who doesn’t love peach! To bad she’s in Japan and covids going on, I’ll just wait till nycc2020 on this one.
  4. Where should I post this then? Maybe I should rephrase my question. if my books a solid 9.8, would this effect the grade By making it a 9.6 and is a 9.9 possible with the book looking like this ?
  5. I’m aware of that, so r ur saying even if they are manufactured this way a 9.9 is possible? I guess I’m more concerned with books 2 and 4 in the picture if u go from the top down. Since that pocket is huge and wavey. also could the waveyness of these new books differentiate a 9.8 from a 9.9, like If I pressed the book would that bump it up? I just don’t understand these slight issues with modern books and how to grade or really deal with it yet. I do intend to send these 4 books shown above to CGC in about 2 weeks so I just don’t want to be surprised and regret not pressing them. Cuz they r solid 9.8 books but is a 9.9 even possible with a fold like that ?
  6. First of all I hope this is the right thread for this question but I’ve been wondering this for a very long time now. With the picture I’ve attached, is this a defect and does this effect the grade of ur comic books. Like are these books able to get 9.8 or even a 9.9 + because of this? Could this knock a book into a 9.6? Or is there even a chance a perfect 10 could be obtainable if ur book is folded/looks like this? Because besides this these books are easy 9.8s from my past CGC submission experience. I've submitted books in the past that weren’t as severe as this that have come back as 9.8 but I was wondering what the CGC forums had say. Some have even suggested in pressing these books because of the picture shown as well. (I know a 9.9 or a 10 is highly unlikely, I’m just wondering if it’s possible nonetheless)
  7. Well it’s worth the ask. I know people r in the area to do this and tickets r only $20 so u can’t blame me for reaching out on the forums to see. I’m not asking someone to drive 5 hours to go to a convention that’s smaller than ur local convenience store that’s full of vendors trying to rip off people by paying 2x more than eBay prices. I’m doing 8-10 books personally and I’m sure others would love this opportunity as well so doesn’t hurt to make a post. Then again people r all about making money and ripping others off So maybe I shouldn’t even of bothered. Either way he’s going to revolution con In California 2 weeks after this Event so I can just get my books signed there. It’s not a big deal, I’d just rather do it myself and get a cool remark than go through a friend. but damn I didn’t expect u guys to be individual_without_enough_empathys so thanks for that!
  8. that’s very true but u never know. It’s a very little con maybe someone will be there, so I’m reaching out to see. I’m not looking for someone to go out of there way Or anything but it would be a good idea with them signing on James Barr to have someone there. (Not cgc personally but some facilitator or witness) cuz I’m sure u could get a bunch of people around here to toss them 10 bucks a book to send in cgc orders or something.
  9. Title says it all. I need to somehow find a CGC witness for Saratoga Comic Con (In New York) on May 2-3rd to witness some J.O.Barr signatures. How would I go about getting this done or does anyone live close by that can help me out? Would mean a lot to me because CGC doesn’t actually attend small conventions like this. thanks!!
  10. U gotta remember Todd is an artist and he’s going to be an artist no matter what. Maybe his artistic mind tells him silver on this book but red on this book even tho u wanted let’s say blue. like my venom mcfarlane sketch for example, I’ve only seen that book signed by him in red maybe he just associates that book with red.
  11. as soon as ur books are marked finalized / imaged / shipped u will be able to look at the grades u got.
  12. A bunch of signatures I was looking at tonight. Even at $137 after ebay fees ur loosing money, auctions r not the way to go here guys but if u want to pick one up that’s signed at a guaranteed grade keep an eye out!
  13. Last day signed was the 20th. First day signed was the 14th.
  14. Damn legion nice stuff. Hook me up With one of those 9.6 coyote’s!
