It's high, but the question becomes "will my books do 10% better on HA than Comicconnect (who would chanrge 10%, IIRC)? to which I think the answer is "yes"?
Would you sell them all at once, or break them up? I’m not sure what would be best for mine

Sadly, that's the way the math works if you are planning to auction off ordinary run of the mill non-key non-high dollar value books through Heritage, which to me clearly indicates that HA is NOT the auction venue that you should be selecting if you are planning to auction off these kinds of books.
It was actually OA. 2 pieces from from the Death of Superman line. One was a cover art, the other a full page art piece. Not exactly run of the mill, but I also didn’t know I could possibly negotiate the fees.

FWIW they offered to waive the seller's fee for me, but not the 20% buyer's fee.
(I'm selling Action 15-63, slabbed)20% is still a lot. I would presume they’d offer me about the same for my Superman 2-26 higher grade run.

thanks for the response: as for the 10%, I assume that's on top of the 20% buyer's premium? (in which case, in total, that's the 30% I am referring to)
Last time I sold with them, they took 15% from the final bid, plus they add their 20% on top of the final bid. So, a $1000 bid totals for $1200, and the consignor gets $850. Thats 30% they get.

No, he's saying that Heritage will waive the seller's commission and offer a rebate on the Buyer's Premium so that the overall fee he's paying on the total price (hammer + BP) is around 10%.
If that’s the case, then definitely HA. I’m going to contact Matt and see what we can come up with. I’ve been debating selling some books.

I’ve sold books on all four, and CC is my first choice. Good prices, prepaid shipping labels and fast payouts. HA does seem to fetch the highest prices, but as you mentioned, they take the most at about 30%.

Pricing this at $5500.
I’m also interested in buying or trading for Superman issues 3, 6 and 21 in mid to higher grades. The fun stuff!!!!!
USPS insured, Priority, shipping to the US is $50. I’m happy to use your prepaid label too.
Payment by USPS MO or check (MO and checks must clear before shipping). Msg me if other pymt options are avail.
No returns on CGC books.
"Take it" trumps any negotiations in PMs.
I have sold and purchased a handful on here, all higher valued books. I've been in eBay since 04 under Manofsteelpt.
Any questions, please ask. Thanks.

That’s why I used Supes 14 for an example. It’s always sold higher than guide. So, Why not adjust the guide?
-
Can anyone tell me why, if a book sells for multiples of the guide price, why doesn’t the guide price adjust to that price? For example, Superman 14. It’s always sold for 1.5-2 times guide price. Why doesn’t the price guide adjust to that?

Every book I have seen that is identified as trimmed has a label note that states which edge of the cover is trimmed. Is that no longer happening?
Different days, different notes and labels I guess.

Here’s another. I thought trimmed was no longer considered restored. eBay seller is asking 3250 for it. Def not a restored price. Too bad it’s trimmed, cuz I love the book.

I find it too hard to find comics with no search function. Just a screen name search from what I know.
