  1. I had my eye on this auction and I was shocked that it went for that low. I think you got a GREAT deal there, congratulations I just finished my mad run about a half a year ago and now I'm actively upgrading. There have been some nice ones on ebay recently. I won the 9.2 #20 last week, I'll post a picture when it comes in.
  2. 20 bucks at a yard sale. I'm not really much on OA, though, so how did I do?
  3. She'll be back in town in a week, I'll see if I can get her to do a search on it the russian google. I've come up blank searching in english. Worth mentioning that she said those were actually the only comics.
  4. That Mad #1 gaines copy is puurrrrrty. Trade ya for all of my low grade kurtzman file panics!
  5. I have a friend from the former soviet union and asked her if there were soviet equivilents of these sorts of comics and she said that she remembers there were. Unfortunately I have not had any luck finding examples on the net, but it would be interesting to see some of these.
  6. Thanks guys! I started working on the set in june of last year and finished it in december with a nice diamond run copy of #5. I wanted a complete set pretty above holding out for the perfect copies so a few of the ones I have are complete dogs, but I'm working on correcting that This thread is great, there is nothing like seeing these great groups of old books in one place!
  7. Wow, great collections! I humbly submit my Mad collection. It's definately a work in progress. I've upgraded 2 issues this week (#2 cgc 8.0 and #17 pgx 6.0). Sorry for the slightly blurry pics
