  1. fantastic news but won't make a lick of difference if the current crop of Marvel Studios writers is helming the series instead of the competent Netflix series' writers
  2. a show about Skully as the main character would have been more interesting than what we got here
  3. what a totally uninteresting character what a totally uninteresting character what a totally uninteresting character
  4. I have no desire to see “The Marvels”
  5. well many can attest, you have gone above and beyond we need a “who is CGC Mike” thread would love to hear what you enjoy collecting, for how long, other interests and ….. if you yourself submit to CGC
  6. when CGC advertises an event as a “In-House Private Signing” they should be clear if it is at CGC HQ or the creator’s actual house just saw this posting on social media …. CGC Comics 1h · Write up this weekend’s #SignatureSeriesSaturday with our CGC Signature Series team and the incomparable #MarvWolfman! It is always such a joy getting to hang with the accredited writer this time welcoming us info his lovely home! Let us know in the comments if you see your submission among this large spread of collectable keys! …. now I did not submit for this signing but if I did it would concern me with all the QC issues and such that the books are having to make 2 extra trips and are subject to more handling in a less controlled environment understood that sometimes things come up with a talent where they are unable to travel, but in that case maybe the event should be pushed back or postponed This practice seems to be occurring more often such as artists finishing remarques offsite (see Arthur Adams) If you did submit and CGC later alerted you to this change in venue and gave the option if you wished to continue or not please disregard this post but I find it highly unlikely description of “in-house” private signings per CGC In-House Private Signings It’s not always possible for fans to attend a comic con or other event to get their collectibles signed in person. CGC In-House Private Signings provide the answer! With In-House Private Signings, CGC invites individual artists, writers and other creators to its headquarters to sign collectibles at a designated time. While signing collectibles, many creators connect with fans through social media channels, and some may even do shout-outs. CGC In-House Private Signings are not affiliated with comic cons, so even if a convention is canceled, In-House Private Signings are not affected. https://www.cgccomics.com/signature-series/
  7. correct to the bold part your assumption provides that no other signed NM 98 added to the census in that period were done outside of the in house event and that all were specifically signed by Liefeld
  8. unacceptable given the length of time it took to locate a response, Gambold Vintage demands you immediately change the name of the company to Longboxed
  9. given comics are not graded by just 2 corners of a book, no one is going to properly be able to answer your question based on the pictures provided fyi, this should be posted in the following sub-forum https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/
  10. bumping up an old thread and sort of piggybacking off the above comment/question due to all the praise and positive feedback I am considering using CFP to press/clean a book and have them submit to CGC on my behalf but I'm a bit confused as to the process in trying to navigate Joe's site under order type I select yes please send my book(s) for grading after they are pressed because I don't currently have an active paid membership with CGC I select no I am not including my own paperwork ... I enter the comic details under the add comic screen and in the end all it does is give me the total for the press to add to my cart and checkout nothing about choosing the service (CGC in this case), return shipping or the grading/encapsulation .... under the benefits it says "We will handle the submission of your books to CBCS or CGC and complete all necessary paperwork" how exactly is that handled? does Joe reach out outside of the online submission process and provide me the additional costs for that and any other service if desired (ex. custom label) and how exactly is that additional cost processed/invoiced if not directly through the website? lastly, when messing with the online submission to create an order since I tried adding the book the first time and only saw the pressing cost I tried again just to see if I was missing something and it now has 2 entries for the same book in my cart ... if I submit I obviously only want to submit 1 of the book but there is nothing that allows me to delete or edit an entry or clear the cart completely .... any suggestions? I did email @joeypost via the Get in Touch prompt with some of these questions but if someone here can answer instead I'm sure it would give him more time to work on your books thanks in advance

  14. strike what I said about SS coming next, 1 step closer to JRS ASM …. Not fully set in stone but the release dates for our next books are coming together and I can say with some degree of confidence that the next volume to his store shelves will be ASMv2. Folks in Europe can look forward to that book sometime in October. We hope North American distribution will sneak it in before Christmas but stay tuned on that...
