  1. I recently saw this cool listing for Marvel Treasury #20. Thought it was interesting how the treasury bundle was wrapped for distribution. If they were all shipped this way it’s no wonder they’re so tough to find in high grade.
  2. Just back from CGC. I noticed they don’t state ‘Double Cover’ in bold anywhere now. They used to state it both on the front center label and on top of the slab (where it now reads ‘Newsstand’ on the MTU 100). Now it looks like the fine print is the only way to identify them.
  3. I was beyond excited when he drew the character in books outside of DD!
  4. The Firestorm $1 Annual I found reminded me of this one. Gifted to me years ago by the generous and sexy @Bunky Brian who knows my love of the double covers.
  5. I have also seen these receive green labels.
  6. I had a DD 168 like that. They graded the outer cover, gave it a blue label and a “manufactured with extra cover in centerfold” notation.
  7. Went to a new local Anime/comic store Friday to check it out. Spent an hour or so in the dollar boxes and picked up 20+ nice books. This was one of them. Didn’t know it was a double cover until I was just bagging and boarding everything! Also pulled a (beat) DD 131.
