  1. Way too much wear in the upper side box corner for me. There was a time many years ago a FVF (7.0) was a very nice book. Not so much anymore. I have to go FN - (5.5) but cgc will likely say higher. Nice book though.
  2. It is a matching back cover inside and out. If one needed a Cap 1 back cover, a Mystic 5 back cover is the cheapest way to complete a Cap 1. The inside and outside coupon codes match. Unlike golden age DCs from the same release month, typically, Timelys from the same release month have mix matching codes or different inside back covers but these two books match (December, 1940 release date). The Human Torch 2 and Marvel Mystery 16 do not have back covers that match Cap 1/Mystic 5.
  3. 3.0, but cgc will probably go higher.
  4. I prefer old school, sigs on the first page. I’m not really a fan of signed comic book covers. Long live Jack “King” Kirby.
  5. Here’s my lone Kirby signed SA book. Was signed in the mid 1970s on the convention floor.
  6. I believe that was much later in his life (late 1980s on) when he developed hand issues and could not sign his name effectively so Roz would help. She also helped him ink so many pages in his career so no big deal right?
  7. Yup, and my current copy is blue cowl with no dust shadow and I’m good without the dust stripe.
  8. Yah, seems to be a decent, more affordable Schomburg alternative to a Suspense 3.
