  1. That was an astronomically hammer price for sure. Now, if that was a legit Ditko sig on the splash/combo Lee & Ditko sigs, then by all means bid excessively. Otherwise, it's a $30k - $35k copy at best, even with a common Stan sig. It's a head scratcher for sure.
  2. Fishler was always confident in his handling of vintage comics. I remember showing him an All Select 1 at Wondercon in the 90s and he flipped though it very smoothly in a matter of seconds.
  3. Ray, I can only think of one (well, maybe two) other avatar that would be more appropriate for you

  10. Here’s the last copy I owned along with my Heshka Bat1 painting. Happy 80th (4-25-40) to the Joker, Catwoman, and Batman 1.
  11. Keep it raw. Besides, it has the incorrect BC. The correct Wallace Brown ad coupon is Dept M-134 for a Spidey 4.
  12. any collectibles I ship or are shipped to me are covered with my Collect Insure policy . For $1000, I can send USPS Priority Mail w/signature and it's covered for up to $2500. If I needed more than $2500 coverage, I just need to ship USPS Express w/signature or Registered w/signature or FedEx Overnight w/signature and it's covered for up to $60k per package.
  13. welcome to the boards First time seeing a “Jan 1963” date stamp on a TOS 39 as this book typically was received at newsstands in Dec 1962. Great original owner collection.
  14. Finally price drops and final call before these head to the comic wasteland If anyone has any X-Men issues (see past post for specific issues) they would trade for the Whiz or Jumbo, LMK
  15. Cap 33 is a top favorite of mine too Ray. I always thought the cover from Marvel Mystery 36 was preceded by the bulk of the journey down the long tunnel from Marvel Mystery 15
