    Speaking of oddball characters, I like Moon Man and Blazing Skull in Mystic 5. Absolutely wild characters and a semi swipe of Batman (Moon Man)(panels are similar to the penthouse in Tec 29) and foreshadowing of the Bronze Age Ghost Rider (Blazing Skull).

    I remember the 33 (Origin) seemed to be more desired than the 31. Every book has it's time in the sun. The Gerber scarcity index seemed accurate with some books and really off on others. I still use it as a reference along with OSPG, the CGC census numbers, and my personal experience.

    I remember that issue. Gary Carter did a great job putting the CBMs together. The CBM's and OSPG had all the inside information that was appreciated at that time. Now it's all about what color that label is and what information is on/not on it.

    that looks good Richard. There were so many "fly by night" Timely characters by Goodman, so many of them were 3rd/4th tier based on your classification.

    Certainly one of the tougher USAs to track down, but I have always experienced the 8 to be the toughest.
