  1. Very true. I had forgotten about the ASM 300 talk. Thus if I was CGC I'd be trying to identify all the books submitted for reholder under this scammer's account or accounts and then trying recover as many of those as possible. Even consider publishing a list of suspected tampered books at some point in the future. But that would probably just make the books infamous and thus even more collectible.
  2. One interesting piece of info eBay could provide is this scammer's buying history. I'm curious if he was too lazy to use a 2nd account for buying his lower grade books used for swapping. Guess if this Hulk 181 is the book then that ebay ID's history would be helpful if any official investigation is undertook.
  3. Two weeks? I'm going on 4 weeks in GEI for my 10/24 submission where the other half shipped back 27 days ago. So this First In, First Out is malarkey.
  4. Just to commiserate.... I'm right there with you on my 10/24 submission of 25 books. 10 modern books shipped back 11/02 and the other 15 modern with custom labels have been stuck in GEI after both sets were progressing on identical tracks. Pretty ridiculous really. The 20 Day turnaround time that CGC so proudly brags about has come and gone...no matter how they want to count it.

  7. dionisi-2 Dionisio Brens Block this thief. Purchased a Edge of Spider-Verse #2 CGC 9.4 on October 10th. Delivered UPS on October 13th with note MET CUSTOMER. End of December I get a message that he hadn't received the book. Ignored. December 31st he disputes it with his credit card. Today February 24th, eBay advises that his card company sided with him but of course I'm all good because I followed eBay's rules and they'll eat the cost. But he's still a thief. Lesson learned, don't ship to the projects. Do yourself a favor and Block eBay ID dionisi-2

  12. Always? Different person, different answer. Hence the confusion. Honestly, “it’ll get done when it gets done” seems to be the only real answer of consequence.
  13. Well eBay has started blocking listing of this bootleg book as being COUNTERFEIT. The gentleman that bought a CGC 9.8 from Black Flag has posted on IG that eBay removed his listing for policy violation. Ouch.
  14. Like the 274 Stray Dogs Acetates on the census with none cracking above 9.8?
  15. The Stray Dogs Acetate was manufactured by the publisher, Image, whereas the UF4 was altered by Black Flag. The Stray Dogs Acetate has a unique barcode and a $12.99 cover price versus the Stray Dogs cover A price of $3.99. The UF4 is an admitted recycled facsimile book from 2021. Outside of having 4 staples there is nothing, I repeat, nothing similar about the origins of these books. But set all that aside, can someone explain to me how 274 copies of Stray Dogs Acetate can be on the census and there is not a single 10.0 or 9.9? But Black Flag can submit 30 books, known so far, and have 3x10.0s, 11x9.9s among the 3 titles? So 0 out of 274 for a legit published book to grade above 9.8 but 14 out of 30 for retailer altered books.
