  1. Hello. Currently, I use an HP Scanjet 8390 Flatbed Scanner with Vuescan scanning software for my comic slabs. I received back some new CGC Magazine Slabs and unfortunately, the width of my HP Scanjet scanner is not wide enough. The scanning surface is 14 x 8 1/2 inches. About an inch short width wise. The CGC Magazine slabs are 14 x 9 1/2 inches. I'm looking for flatbed scanner recommendations that would fit the new CGC Magazine Slab dimensions for scanning. Thanks!
  2. Wow! Some amazing slabs for sale! Love how you added the CGC graders notes!
  3. Hello! I own an HP Scanjet 8300 scanner and use the Vuescan software with it. I noticed that I get a glare near the top or bottom of some of my CGC slab scans. Do any other HP Scanjet owners experience this glare sometimes? If so, do you have any recommendations to help remedy this issue? I attached a few recent images of a slab scans and you can see the glare near the bottom of the Halo scan and top of the Super Mario Bros scan. I'm wondering if this may be due to newer CGC slabs. Thanks! Rich
  4. With the front and back cover color breaking spine ticks, corner issues and general wear, I would say an 8.0 with cp.
  5. You can try using a hair dryer to heat up the label and scrap off carefully or try using "Undu" Remover which evaporates after application. Can be found at most stores or Amazon. I believe CGC does not ding you for subscription stickers on your Sports Illustrated magazines, but your CGC label will show "Subscription Edition."
  6. Hello! What would you estimate the grade on this Star Wars #2 with the color rub on the front and back covers? I appreciate your help! Thanks! Rich
  7. Thanks everyone for your responses! I thought the back cover may be weighed less for the overall CGC grade.
  8. Just curious. I have a number of silver age comics with nice covers, but some have tanning on the back cover or small stains. Thanks!
