  1. Hello @MattM CS, As you suggested, I went through the "I can't find my comic" process and entered all the relevant data. However, when I attempted to select a custom cover the screen only provided one option (see below), I would like to have the custom "Universal X-Men Gate" label. Is there a method for modifying an item once it is in the cart? - Grimjack @@@ Disregard message - - I reloaded the screen and altered the entry information and the other labels became available.
  2. Greetings All, After my last submission, just received today, I kept daily track of the entire process to compile an accurate count on processing times. Below are the results. Delivered to Post Office – 3 July 2023 Arrived at Sarasota Post Office – 6 July 2023 Package Picked up by CGC – 6 July 2023 4 Days (4 Days Total) Item scanned as received CGC – 13 July 2023 7 Days (11 Days Total) Package opened and inventoried – 26 July 2023 Scheduled for Grading - 26 July 2023 13 Days (24 Days Total) Grading/Encapsulating – 4 Aug 2023 9 Days (33 Days Total) Grading/Imaging – 8 Aug 2023 Shipped – 8 Aug 2023 4 Days (37 Days Total) Delivered – 11 Aug 2023 3 Days (40 Days total) I think this is pretty quick, especially when compared to a couple of years ago. Enjoy the info. - Grimjack
  3. Hello, I am attempting to submit 2 X-Men books (Extraordinary X-Men #1 1/16 & Uncanny X-Men #1 1/16 - Campbell connecting cover issues) and I was able to locate the Extraordinary title (image 1) in your list but not the Uncanny issue (image 2). Image 3 shows the screen I was able to get for the first book. Your thoughts? - Grimjack
  4. This seems to be a trend. I too, am awaiting confirmation of receipt by CGC. As previously mentioned in this tread, the turnaround times have drastically improved from a couple of years ago. I am curious about one thing though, current turnaround time for modern books is 20 business days. Do the 20 days start from when the shipment is delivered, scanned into CGC or entered into the grading process? On another note, in CGC's rebuttal (near the start of this thread) they display where you can enter your tracking number to check if the parcel has been accepted. (This display is not a true link to the tracking option but rather a 'png' file. Below (second image) is how the site looks on my end. As you can see, my parcel has been delivered (according to the USPS) but CGC website has no record of the package yet.
  5. Hello, My question concerns the inability to access custom labels for the specific X-Men #1 comic I wish to submit. I was able to add a custom label to my Amazing Spider-Man 252 comics I wish to submit. However, when I added my X-Men #1 (Campbell Virgin) book, no custom label options are available. Is there a work-around for this problem? Once there is a fix, I will be happy to submit my order. Just discovered if I only select the 'standard' entry for X-Men #1 07/21 (and not the Campbell Virgin option - which is the actual book I wish to submit) I have the option to select a custom cover. I am reluctant to select this option, since I will be submitting the Rogue (negative) cover. - Grimjack

  7. Hello, I have many comics with various inserts. One of the most unique is a packet of Kool-Aid. What process is used to press these type of comics? I imagine normal pressing methods would crease the books, since many of these inserts are not flat. Wouldn't removing the inserts classify these books as 'incomplete'? - Grimjack
  8. Hello CGC, Many people have requested, or mentioned, how beneficial having direct and detailed information on their accounts available through your website. A method which would probably free up a lot of your account department's time. With this in mind, I have deactivated the auto-renewal on my account and will use CGC on a case by case basis only. At least until such time as direct and free access can be granted to all details to a person's account. Thank you for your time. - Grimjack
  9. Hello, My order was submitted to CCS in Oct of last year and I was supplied with an invoice for their services about 3 weeks ago. Since that time the order has been paid. My question is: How long does it take for an completed pressing job to reappear in the grading queue and be viewable on the CGC website? As of right now I am still getting 'more than 8 months has elapsed and your order is no longer visible' error. Any information would be appreciated. Grimjack
  10. Hello, On a side note to this topic, I just received a bill from CCS for my comics submitted in Sept '21 and I am not sure why they didn't use my credit card on file. I went to double check my CC information but no orders were listed to assign the card to, since the order is over 8 months old. A few questions on this: 1) Will my comics be held at CCS until they receive my mailed in payment? 2) Since my original submission is over 8 months old; will I see any status listed on the CGC side of the house as they are graded? 3) My submission is multi-tiered, 55 days vs 250 days, will my comics be shipped out as they are graded or is the entire order held until all books in the submission are finished? - Grimjack60
  11. Hi, Is it possible, if a submission has not yet entered the grading process, to be upgraded to Fast Track? If so, what process would need to be followed? - Grimjack
  12. Hello, I updated my email address in my profile. I signed off and back on again using the new email address. I even checked the Notifications page and my new email is listed, however, all my emails are still being sent to my old address. Why is this happening and how can I get CGC to recognize the address listed in my profile? - Larry
  13. Hello All, Perhaps it is just me but I hope it isn't. Almost weekly I receive notices from CGC announcing new Special Signing Events. While at the same time, I have submissions which have been in the Pressing queue for over 6 months. Maybe it is time to stop all the special events, which seem to add even more items to the grading queue, and concentrate mainly on clearing the excessive backlog in pressing and grading. My most 'recent' submission was sent for pressing in early September and is still in a holding pattern. As I understand it, there has been a recent explosion of people who desire their collection graded. This, of course, created a literal ton of work for your company but doesn't all these signing events add even more work? Which in turn causes even more delays? This might not be a popular opinion by many but I thought the situation should be addressed. -Grimjack

Hello, Is there a way, via the website, to get a detailed transaction report of my account? (ex. list of all charges and payments) - Larry Hanson
  15. Hello, My concern is regarding the discount I should be receiving as a Premium member. I submitted several comics for grading with the understanding my discount would apply to this submission (CGC9681078662). They arrived at your facility on 9 Sep 21 and have been in the queue at CCS since 19 Oct 21. It has now been 5 months and my membership is up for renewal in about a week. I would like to be assured, since my submission was well within the term of my current membership, my discounts will be applied to this submission - regardless of when the submission is completed. I do understand your company is overloaded with work and delays are inevitable. I can be patient during the processing time. What I feel is fair in return is; membership discount benefits will be applied to submissions based on their arrival date to your facility and not on the date of grading completion. A response to these concerns would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time. Larry Hanson
