  1. It's microchamber paper, meant to absorb some of the harmful things the paper puts off over time (keeping those white pages white). Not really a cause for concern beyond aesthetics. Never tried coaxing one back into place, maybe some others have suggestions here but probably would require reslabbing.
  2. Agreed 7.0, liquid damage, and a lot of wear on Beast's costume.
  3. That looks like a little different than the wording in the email, hopefully they felt they needed to clarify this was an option. This makes me feel a little better. I've already had a couple other people with tickets ask me about this, so I'll let them know it looks like legit vax cards are going to be good enough.
  4. I'm still looking into it. The email says it's mandatory but the website says there will be "alternate methods" available for those who "cannot access the CLEAR app". If my card isn't good enough I will turn around and go home.
  5. Well, I was all set to attend but now they insist I download a phone app to prove my vaccination status, so I'm not going. I'm triple-vaxxed and would be happy to show proof of that but I'm not downloading some 3rd party phone app. What if an attendee doesn't have a smart phone?
  6. Thank you for sharing this. It's nice to see a happy retirement story from one of the old creators.
  7. Yes, they "fight" Galactus in this issue apparently.
  8. I didn't see Mephisto in that trailer anywhere! Or maybe I did...?
  9. Just noticed Batman's got some serious backside there.
  10. I understand that kav is also well acquainted with the things she has spoken.
  11. Count me as interested if rookies can participate in the first round.
  12. Have you seen what a bag of chips is going for these days? I might have to sell a key to buy one.
  13. My first one was also one of the early Chicago Comicons when they were downtown at the Congress Hotel on Michigan Avenue. I was still a kid and it was the greatest place I'd ever been in my life! I think the following year (my 2nd con), John Byrne was set up right at the entrance doing autographs and sketches for everybody. I got his sig on X-Men 143:
