  1. Sounds like the most mocking but fair joke on the comic book industry
  2. It annoys me terribly that, in the modern era, every other comic book carries the loud title of "KEY ISSUE. The reason for this is the simple death of some character. I'm well aware that the definition of a key issue was invented in the last century. And back then "key death" made sense. I think you know why. But now, with characters dying and being reborn on a regular basis, all these key deaths look very ludicrous. Yes, when a character died in the Silver and Bronze Ages, it really meant his death and it had to be immortalized as a "key issue" since the character never came back (yes, I'm sure there are many exceptions for the Silver Age as well, but let's pretend my argument works). But now...now it all looks like the most standard part of the -script, not some story that needs to be immortalized on a label and written everywhere that it's a key issue. As cool as ASM #121 was, I can't even see it as a full key issue. semi-key issue at most. And I don't take other of the "key" deaths for anything important at all. Is there any alternative viewpoint regarding key deaths? I'd be very happy to hear from you.
  3. Newbie collectors when they see a 90's comic (and also a completely honest seller who is ready to sell a 90's comic at a good discount!):
  4. Excellent acquisition, congratulations! I too sold my copy a couple of years ago to a friend of mine for $150. I'm glad that I can now repurchase it for a much lower cost
  5. This is Russia. But it’s quite difficult to sell here, because you can’t always guess whether this comic will be bought or not. Wifi is quite good
  6. Hi all! I live in another country and we just have the wildest cult around Stan Lee and everything connected with him. We sell absolutely random Late Silver Age comics for a huge amount of money simply because Lee wrote the -script for them. And his signatures, especially confirmed ones, cost up to a thousand dollars, or even more, despite the fact that the comic book on which the signature was left is not remarkable at all, and delivery to our country costs $ 40. Once I even saw the sale of "limited'' and an "exclusive" Stan Lee toy with his signature for $2,000. And no one was indignant at the high price, on the contrary, everyone wanted to buy this toy and even began to save money for it. Every time I tell people in my country, "It's just one of Stan Lee's billions of autographs! It can't be worth that much!" They answered me with something like: "Shut up, "expert", I saw how his autographs were sold on eBay for a thousand dollars!" (I hope you don't need to explain that "buy it now" on eBay is not always correct in terms of prices). Many of us even believe that Lee's signature on absolutely any comic automatically increases its value by 500%. And is it necessary, after all that I said, talk that many collectors in my country want Lee's signature on literally every comic book they have? So I have a question that I want to ask here, because here are so many cool and experienced collectors: Do you want Stan Lee's signature on every your marvel comic? Do you think his signature is really valuable and rare (lol). Also, I would love to hear if you have a cult around Stan Lee in the US and Canada?
  7. I have found a number of flaws that reduce the comic's condition. In this connection, the price falls even more.
  8. Our cooperation is more than realistic, given that we live relatively close.
  9. I found how much the price varied between different sources. I always try to find the maximum average price + I lower the price a little for the fact that I am a foreigner. I don’t know how much my price is fair. Therefore, people, do not hesitate to write to me in private messages and offer your price. I think we'll come to an agreement.
  10. Condition in VF- I am in Russia. Delivery can take from a week to two months. Reviews are available. Pay with PayPal. Standart shipp 15$ or 1st class 25$. No return. 200$ or best offer 135$ or best offer $ 100 + Free First Class Shipping
  11. Yes, excellent reading, I recently read it myself. I was lucky, and considering that in my country the prices for this book started at $ 150, I managed to get it for just 85. That's at the pre-order price, hehe. True, the book is just a little shabby.
  12. Well, for some reason I had to sell my CGC collection. Since then, however, prices for many keys have risen dramatically and continue to rise. Therefore, to wait out this period (and I hope that such a strong increase in prices will end someday), I decided to return to collecting omnibus and absolute. And here are the first books that managed to come to me:
  13. Good buyer. I am glad that we agreed on the price and he quickly sent the payment. Thanks, man, you helped me out. This money will be used for a good cause.
  14. Reducing the price to 2000$. Let me remind you that the last sale at 1.5 was 2400$
  15. Reducing the price to 2300$ or best offer
  16. I warn you right away that I am in Russia. Delivery can take from a week to two months. Reviews are available. Pay with PayPal. Standart shipp 15$ or EMS 50$. No return. SOLD
  17. Front and back cover detached. Missing ad page. I warn you right away that I am in Russia. Delivery can take from a week to two months. Reviews are available. Pay with PayPal. Shipp 15$. No return 280$ Or... What I will consider for an trade: PR action and detective comics 40's High grade nonkey silver age marvel Iron-Man #55 1.8 or lower, but with a surcharge (if there is Starlin's signature, then I will accept it in the state 0.5) Amazing Spider-Man #300 low grade Amazing Spider-Man #121 low grade Restored or qualified marvel key silver age
  18. And my Daredevil # 1 is back from CGC. While the CGC was evaluating it, the book has grown tremendously in value. Hopefully "cover detached" won't interfere with the sale
  19. Daredevil # 1 is back from the CGC. Thanks to everyone who insisted on sending. True, CGC tore the cover in two, but I don't know if this could have been avoided when evaluating, because the cover was already barely holding
  20. I urgently need to sell this comic, so I will consider any price. Feel free to write me messages
  21. I am trying to temporarily move away from collecting, but I recently had a birthday and I got some money. So I couldn't resist buying the first appearance of the Mysterio in super low condition.
  22. Cover detached. Without MVS. I warn you right away that I am in Russia. Delivery can take from a week to two months. Reviews are available. Pay with PayPal. Shipp 15$. No return SOLD
  23. Sorry, but the candy didn't fit in the box. But I hope FF # 67 brings you just as much joy.
  24. So that you know: I feel very embarrassed about the broken case. I admit that this is my fault, for I packed this package badly. But since then I have bought more packaging and I hope this will not happen again. I promise that if your book gets damaged, I will pay for a replacement.
