  1. I have similar problems from time to time - usually if I am trying too many searches back to back or refresh the browser. In either case, I end up with a blank white screen. It's usually something I can fix by closing the browser and opening a new one, and it only happens for me on iOS.
  2. The inked prelim is different enough from the final that I would have questions about whether it was the original or some kind of recreation. Any amount of research would have brought your original up. This is one of the things I like most about having a resource like CAF out there.
  3. I would look at offsite storage storage options. If you're going to have people in and out of the house, it's probably not worth leaving it there.
  4. Suddenly bummed I won’t make it! There are some great pieces there.
  5. My approach to Marvel movies these days is "i'll catch it on streaming" so i'm not 100% sure, but was this one delayed? I saw quite a bit of marketing for it months ago (happy meal tie-ins in July, for example), but it was all gone (or on the way out) by the time the film actually released. It reminded me of the WW1984 push, where there was a huge gap between the (little) marketing and the film with a lot of dead space in between.
  6. While I don't know if alcohol was involved here, what other remotely passable excuse could there be?
  7. If you recall the artist’s general location, a copy of the floor layout/booth guide might give you a good place to start. From there, you can google names in that general area until you find the guy you’re looking for. This has worked for me in the past.
  8. Don’t worry. The guy responsible for getting packages shipped is the same one getting the site back up. It will get fixed…eventually.
  9. Hey folks. Does anyone here know how to connect with Doug Braithwaite? I have an art inquiry for him but he doesn’t seem to be active on social media.
  10. I haven’t talked to him since April, but it looks like he has logged in to CAF as recently as this month.
  11. I use this Lineco document repair tape. It’s light, acid-free, and is very easy to remove if needed.
  12. Hey folks! I think it was 2014 last time I posted here (I spend most of my time around the comic art forums these days) I have a handful of sketch covers that I am interested in posting for sale, but I'm not sure where the best place (here on the forums) would be - the modern marketplace thread? Mixed age/misc thread?
  13. I would bet that they all passed through a single collector that, unfortunately, decided to mount the art to another board. If you're motivated, you might be able to find other examples on CAF and find your way to the person who made the change (even if they aren't on CAF). They could provide insight into the materials used to mount the art.
