Some more mads added. Most of these had the usual edge tanning issues but structurally most of them seem unread and the price was so cheap I couldnt resist. Love how the back covers on these are just as fun as the front.

Turned my Auto renew off also. Just checked my 25 book early summer 9.6-9.8 pre-screen submission and they are all banana's now. Makes me happy for the 10 that for whatever reason didn't pass pre-screen.

Yea all these are from Jim's collection which as you know Dwayne @Azkaban has been slowly but surely getting out over the past year. Jim really kept his Magazines in beautiful shape for the most part of the one's I've bought. Basicly The Goblin was Warren's last ditch effort to be relevant in a time period where superhero's were the top dogs and horror was in decline. Needless to say it did not go well for Warren. It's 2 efforts in this direction The Rook (13issues) and the Goblin (3 issues) never really got off the ground. I have not read The Goblin yet so I will leave the critical analyzing to others here who no doubt have much more knowledge on this.

Unfortunately only have some flimsy evidence of what might have been in the Sgt. Rock 329 3pak. Did a search in my database and realized the only 2 DC Whitmans I have from the my childhood collection in 1979 are Superboy and the LofSH 253 and Sgt. Rock 329. I also have a JLA 167 from my childhood collection that would fit perfect to complete the 3-pak I bought back in the day. It's not marked as a Whitman in my database but that could have been an oversight. Will try to dig it out and see soon. Update: Dug it out and JLA167 is a regular edition so there goes that theory. Makes me wonder though if they ever put regular DC's in the 3 packs.
