  1. Took a spin The grades are now in By the end of this round we will know who will win
  2. Dang 3 bullseyes but off by 3 pts on that Dr. Strange. I think I must have missed the readers crease or something.
  3. True that! I even saw the sub crease, it just didn't look like it Hurt the front cover enough to lower the grade that much to me.
  4. Spun the wheel. Made a Bet. If not for the darn Wonder Woman I'd be in the lead yet.
  5. I agree but I would offer to say that most of these early black diamond books were indeed sold mostly in Whitman three packs as the number of direct sale comic stores at this time compared to supermarkets and varity stores carrying these had to have been quite small. That said I don't think they are that rare. They were everywhere when I was a kid. I guess it could be said they are a little harder to find in high grade but not even sure about that as they were in a bag at least and the middle comic had 2 others to protect it in there. Unlike the dreaded spinner rack of doom.
  6. OK I know this is a bit before bronze era but silver age dosn't seem to have a nifty knowledge able price varient club to ask questions like this at so here i am. Anyway my question is does anyone know how much more scarce the 68' 15 cent gold key issues are. I found this info on them( http://dellcomicfan.blogspot.com/2012/01/204-how-many-12-15-cent-gold-key.html?m=1 ) but it just states which issues have price varients. A brief look on ebay of this Doctor solar book I picked up recently shows most of them are 12 cents but there are a few 15 cent ones in there also. Looks to be about a 10 to1 ratio of 12 to 15 cent on this book on ebay. Just wondering if anyone has any more concrete numbers on these.
