Crose87420 started following PGM The Tomb of Dracula #18 , PGM The Mighty Thor #160 , PGM Journey into Mystery #121 and 7 others
-
The Mighty Thor #160 from January of 1969 featuring the 1st apprance of the Wanderers and the 1st appearances of the Taurians and Archeopians! Scans look like they capture all the defects on the book, pages are off-white. Note that on the back of the book you see another books rusty staples rubbed on the cover. Staples on this book are solid. Thanks all!

Journey into Mystery #121 from October of 1965 and featuring Crusher Creel aka The Absorbing Man. Everything appears to show up in the scans. On the back cover, bottom left, that is indeed a piece missing out of that bottom corner which, 5 seconds earlier, was there but I was a tad careless...off-white pages... Thanks

So, new to Pulps but fascinated by them and I have a couple of questions for those who have been into Pulps. First, how bad is Trimming considered and how badly do you estimate it will effect potential CGC grading? And, did some Pulps have overhang on two out of three sides but not the whole issue in production? Like, did the top of the book get chosen for the cut-off point and the outer side edge and bottom get left with over-hang in some cases? I ask because I have a few copies where this is the case and I don't think someone would trim the top but not the outer edge or bottom.

Journey into Mystery #120 from September of 65. A well-read copy with off-white pages and the defects showing up pretty well in the scans. 1st Appearance of Norma Thaxton. Who is Norma Thaxton you might, as I did, ask? Well Marvel Fandom says she's a patient of Donald Blake's....that's it...so unless she gets bitten by a spider or swallowed by a black suit, not a key. Thanks for the help!

Journey into Mystery from August of 1965. Scans look like they capture the defects. Pages are off-white. Not a sexy key issue but appreciate the help with grading it out.

PGM Spidey Super Stories #11 August 1975 1st Spider-Woman, 1st Black Spider-Woman (Valerie), Earth -57780 Scans seem to show all the defects. That bend on the back, upper right side, goes through several pages until it fades out towards the front of the issue. White/ Off-White pages. Thank for the help!

Tomb of Dracula #18, Feb of 1974 Dracula versus Werewolf By Night!! Scans look like they catch everything but note that the indentation, back cover, center-right, is not a tear. Off-white to White pages. This copy with a C&P would be snappy but the cost to do that just isn't quite realistic. Thanks for your help.
