  1. So it's back now? Jeezus CGC!? What the heck??!! like this doesn't help your already muddied reputation. Especially since my sub was received on 2/15 (waaaayyyy prior to the price changes), your current Economy estimate is 102 days and it's now been 130 weekdays and not counting your stated additional staff, weekends and overtime and it's been sitting waiting in Grading for 3-weeks. Geewillikers. Ugh. *and the actual profanity bombs I have dropped this morning, which rivals the total of this past week, has been self-censored here to protect the virtue of the innocent*
  2. Oh... AND I don't have the submission number written anywhere because apparently it's not printed on my extra copies of my packing slip. I didn't think I needed to write it down. Just. Great.
  3. Checked the status of my 21-card, with sub-grades, economy submission which arrived in early February (that's another story) and... nothing!!?? It states that they haven't received any submissions in the last 8-months!!! I checked yesterday and it was there! I've noticed that my completed orders, less than 8-months old, have disappeared over the last week as well but didn't think much of it. It had just sat idle until about 3-weeks ago when it switched to Grading/Encapsulation etc. (really... over 3-weeks in this stage?) and now this? AND it's Sunday and I can't call CS until tomorrow!!!?? A property owner's worst fear, thousands of dollars worth of cards and... gone!!? Little help please... anybody have any experience with this?? CGC strikes yet again.
  4. PokeDude you are on point. And in addition they will be selling our personal information without allowing us to choose what information can be shared? Companies are moving toward giving their customers/members more rights in opting out without impacting customer care and services. Yet, it appears CGC is trying to get every cent they can and making us agree that even if THEY damage one of our collectibles they are NOT responsible? If you didn't read and just clicked, go back and check it out. I personally love their use of CAPITAL LETTERS!! What is happening to this company? If they had any serious competition at the moment would they be doing this?? If PSA was still doing their thing would this be happening? I have a bunch of great comics for my PC I was getting ready to send in for press/grade but not now. Nor will I be sending in any more cards. I really feel for those of you who rely on graded items for your businesses. And, of course to the trolls who want to pick a fight, we are frustrated and venting to our own community... not seeking to enter into an unwinnable debate. So there!!
  5. In advance I apologize if there is a ridiculously obvious answer The TAT page now states that CGC is "opening" packages delivered the week of 4/5/21. What is the definition of "opening"? I know delivered, received, scheduled for grading ,etc. Opening is a new one for me. My most recent received submission was 2/15... has this been "opened"?
  6. Now why wouldn't CGC post this for everyone? This is the first that I've seen CGC put in writing what they are doing. I emailed as well and nothing. Thank you for sharing this. Customer Service probably got their arse kicked and part of that could have been avoided with better meta communication. Kudos to those fielding calls!
  7. The point I'm trying to make is that there is little effective communication with members as to the issues and efforts made to resolve them. As to the timing of when people submit, maybe there are outlying factors that interfered with folks being able to dedicate the time. Maybe life responsibilities. Maybe they found out late. I started days ago but could only do a few hours a day to this as these issues were not just today. Plus I decided to add additional cards to my submission and had no way to know that it could take 5-10 minutes a card as recent as Sunday.
  8. Now the link in my email either takes me to a print page with a blank packing slip or the ever so fun "No Record Found". Losing faith that the confirmation email will be enough. Can a Mod elaborate on this please? Again... CGC... communicate! I'm a collector and will keep nearly all the cards submitted but what about businesses that rely on you? The people that rely on those businesses?? Just. Provide. Ongoing. Updates. For. Everyone. Yeesh
  9. Due to almost regular error messages, aggravating lags in drop down menus, having to close and reopen windows, refreshing pages, having to enter cards multiple times, screens freezing, entering my CC info several times (when you already have this info on file?), no ability to print a packing slip once the order was finally accepted or even print a confirmation, attempting to access my shipping information from the link in the email only to get a "no record found", now stressing out that the10-hours put to this effort is lost... all for 113 cards many of which were doubles... ... all this, and I'm not alone I'm sure... and nothing from you? A pop-up on the main page saying you are experiencing delays? A quick email to members saying the same... something personalized? "Please know that your business is important to us. We are experiencing server issues due to the increased demand but please know that we are doing our best to address these concerns. If you are experiencing difficulties please continue your efforts to submit as we address this problem and feel free to call us with any questions or concerns. We are aware of your frustrations and have added additional customer service staff to hear you out and assist you as we can. We will also post updates on our chat board. Thank you for your patience and choosing CGC for your grading needs." That took me minutes to write CGC. Yes trolls, I know that the deadline has increased demand. My request is and has been to improve the communication. Be proactive and get ahead of the problems. This is what this post is about... only this. Yeesh To end on a positive note, I called you and your CS dude was awesome. Gave me current info on the problems, what was being done to resolve, what I should do next, was reassuring and super friendly. Maybe he should be your PR person
  10. I believe that this is what a lot of people are saying... it's now 144-days and CGC doesn't announce this. It's always a surprise and not a pleasant one. Clearly I and a lot of people are disappointed that it went from 30 to 144 days within a few months but most of us understand that the times were estimated. It just doesn't "feel" right, it feels shady that a business wouldn't make their customers aware of changes... very significant changes... to take the lead and be upfront. Why doesn't CGC send us emails and/or update their news feed about this? It would go a long way to make us feel confident about submitting in the future and in the company in general. This really isn't too much to ask. Here's a crazy idea... maybe a small credit as a gesture of goodwill to those who have submitted in the bulk or economy levels. $25? This could work now that folks aren't charged until grading. Maybe a guarantee to not raise prices considering the moves PSA has made recently? Something to let us know you value us.
  11. Yes thank you... exactly what I was asking.
  12. Well worded! That is the exact same question I have. "...packages delivered..."... is that a postmarked date?
  13. Hello Everyone... my first post here and newer to mailing books. Is there a concern of theft for these types of mailers? It's pretty obvious what they are and wondered if anyone could speak to this? I have been mailing books in mostly Priority boxes with the books in a well secured brick (extra cardboard, bags/boards, boards between books and cardboard and plenty of bubbles). Little extra work but I feel waaay more confident. Thanks for the feedback!
