  1. Kirby’s very favorite bread! Now with more Krackle!
  2. PRICE REDUCTION! I prefer to get this Silver Surfer: Black page into a collectors hands, rather than auction. I’m going to drop the price to 22K, and leave it up until Wednesday the 20th, then it’s back in the vault. Purchase info is in the description. Thanks for looking, and have a great day. https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=2002428
  3. Actually, I was not one of the lucky ones that got it from Felix’s original drop. I had to pay a premium to get it from another person’s collection, because they almost never show up in auction or for sale. Privately, these sell for $30k+ between collectors. I’m trying to put one on the market that is attainable by dropping the price, and offering a trade plus cash option. Edit to add: And my wife would hotly contest that smart stuff😁 Also, thanks for the well-wishes.
  4. My guess is that it’s a fresh to market situation. That DPS was on a dealers site for quite a while at a much higher price (a little more than double its sale price). I was present at a couple conventions where I happened to notice that it was shown (shopped?) to a couple other dealers, too. Maybe that got them to not bid, making the market lighter? Just guesses, but I think those put downward pressure on that piece. I’ve noticed a couple other dealer pages that had similar prices and discussions, so maybe that’s a thing?
  5. Hello, all. I put a Tradd Moore Silver Surfer: Black page up for sale in my CAF. Here’s the listing, link, and a pic. Feel free to reach out with any questions. As always, I’ll take it or full price offer here ends the listing. ON HOLD I’m offering a page from the final battle between Silver Surfer and Knull from Tradd Moore’s Silver Surfer: Black. Norrin prepares himself for one last heroic sacrifice. I’m ok with either a straight sale, or cash plus trade. PayPal (we’ll need to discuss fees if you use G&S), Venmo, Zelle, or personal check. I’m open to time payments. Offers considered! For trade options: Kirby, EC horror pages, Sal Buscema Hulk battle pages (prefer his pencils and inks), Secret Wars Zeck, Tradd Moore Dr Strange, and I like many other artists, so feel free to reach out if you want me to look at trade possibilities in your collection. Thanks for looking, and have a great day! $22, 000 or Cash + Trade offer https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=2002428
  6. “I just e-mailed Josh at C-link to inform him of the good news and to suggest he alters the description to reflect what it is he's actually auctioning-off. He's just acknowledged my e-mail, so hopefully a more accurate description will follow.” I might as well just copy and paste yours, because I came to post the exact same thing. Heh. I think they are aware now.
  7. All good points. Definitely wait a few to get more info, as there are people here who sell a LOT more than I do. For @shadroch: Does the fee difference make up for possibly getting less, depending on the company used? Not disagreeing, just asking. I don’t really buy comics anymore, just sell, so I don’t know those others as well.
  8. You nailed it. They changed the standards for what goes in a signature auctions, in order to put more in the weekly auctions, and clog the signatures up less. I was just talking to my HA guy about that last week.
  9. I would say so, yes. And you also have the benefit of their PR, and their usual clientele. If someone is not conversant with selling, or has both trepidation and a lack of knowledge on the market, I would think that heritage is the best way to go for your best price, with the least amount of stress. I’m sure some of the more advanced collectors here can chime in, and correct anything they disagree with, but I’ve been doing that for the last few years, and it’s been great, imo.
  10. No need to stress it, imo. If you approach heritage, they will work that all out with you. Which issues should be pressed and graded, which should only be graded, and which ones will be best sold raw. With a collection that size, you should ask them to give you a break on commission. You should get at least 10% (15% is their standard), I would guess. Also, all fees come out of final sales. Good luck with the sales!
  11. Also, they inked the image a little more, manipulated the left arm and tilted the image, and then used it for a marvel poster. I’m pretty sure I remember seeing it on a marvel toy from the 70s, too. Spider-Man shield or something like that? 😏EDIT to add that this was already mentioned upthread. I do think I saw it on another toy, though.
  12. Watch out for falling bricks!!!!¡
  13. One less awful ski jacket on the streets. Keeping the slopes safe, Frank!
  14. It’s just a guess, but judging from the date, and that piece in the lower right corner, I’d guess this was made for the TV upfront announcement for the show. (Usually in NYC in early May). They sometimes make presentation packets and promotional stuff for the press, and this could be that, imo.
  15. I’ll lower it to $500 shipped and insured for both. And if you only want one, I’ll consider offers for each. Have a great Sunday and thanks for looking! 😁
  16. Wonder Twin Pages Activate! For of: Combined Sale (and a bucket of water) I’ll pay shipping and insurance, too. $535 My CAF
  17. Trading with dealers is not worth the time, imo. They will lowball your art’s value and make you stack more than you should in many cases, imo. I will no longer deal with one dealer because of how rude, aggressive and obtuse he was acting while attempting a trade. I never mind people getting a bit worked up or excited, or being pushy on values. But when they start getting mean and pretending not to understand you, just move on. YMMV. I did have a very nice successful trade with a collector, though. It took 5 months of slow talking, but I passed him two Secret Wars pages for one Secret Wars page with a key Sad Galactus moment and cash. Just be patient and don’t push, and negotiate in good faith. And let it take as long as it takes. Persistent but friendly and trying to fully understand their positions has helped me. Again, YMMV with different collectors.
  18. Hey, everyone. I have a few pages for sale, from both Sal Buscema and Humberto Ramos. You know the dance, buy, sell, buy, sell, and dip. I accept Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. Here’s a link to the listings and some pics. Full offer trump’s negotiations. Thanks for looking! Sal Rom page is now on hold I have combined the two Ramos pages to sell together. My CAF
