  1. Not fair? I think CGC is the best in the market when it comes to grading their cards. i don't blame CGC for Beckett and PSA allowing cards that clearly aren't 10's to be graded as 10's. PSA 10's are DRASTICALLY overpriced online. My hope is that the longer that CGC is on the market and their turnaround times continue to be much better than Beckett and PSA, that they will gain a bigger hold in the market and hopefully someday become the top dog in the trading card community. Might take several years, but that's what I am hoping for. You know that if you get a Pristine 10 or a perfect 10, that you have one of the BEST of that card on the market.
  2. Here are the grades that I got on my most recent order from CGC. I haven't sent cards to Beckett before, but I have to PSA before and I gotta say that attention to detail that CGC takes in grading their cards really makes me hopeful for the day that CGC becomes the norm in the trading card community. I love how strict they are. I have gotten PSA10's from PSA that I know wouldn't have a chance at getting a Pristine 10 from CGC. I think all of the cards that I've sent to PSA, I am going to send to CGC and get them re-graded. Probably will do a pre-ship video with my PSA cards and then do another video comparing the grades between PSA and CGC when I get them back. I've only sent in two orders to CGC, but will most definitely be using them in all my future submissions. Have had a great experience so far!
  3. Hello, I sent in my first batch of Pokemon cards to CGC. I am a new member and have never used them before. On the CGC Services and Fees page, it lists the price for each tier. A little further down it also mentions an additional $5 fee for sub-grading the card, however I didn't see an option for that service when filing out the submission form online. Did I miss a step? I want to make sure that sub-grading is included for the cards I submitted, but I didn't see an option to do so. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you! Edit: i just realized that the option is further down the page when selecting the grading tier for each card. Ugh. Is there anyway for CGC to add that to each card I submitted, or am I now SOL with my cards being delivered to them already this morning? I used the contact page to ask the question, so just waiting to hear back. Just wondering if there is a way to add the sub-grading before they actually start grading my order.
