  1. Im saying...he couldve called a few comic shops before giving them away for $1. It was only 6 short boxes. He must have a tiny office. Why cant I ever come across one of these guys!!!!
  2. First, ill admit im jealous of that haul. Jesus, man! I have to ask...did the guy seem to be a drug addict? Because those are crackhead prices. Hard to believe, honestly, in 2022. Did I mention im jealous?
  3. Venom Carnage Deadpool Rick Grimes Invincible Miles Morales I'm still a bit out of the loop but are these the most expensive 1st appearances since the beginning of the modern age?
  4. First comic my older brother gave me to read. I still have it. Also the first comic I gave my kids to read.
  5. All 12 raw...you could prob ask $250-300 if they present nicely in pics. Must have cost $400+ to get 12 books graded though. Shipping costs will be a monster too. Honestly, it's gonna be tough to find a buyer. If it was my set, I'd price #8 at $200 and the other 11 books at $60 each and then add another $100 for shipping. Round it out to $850 + $100 shipping and take offers. Now, if you didn't pay to get them graded, that changes the equation a bit. Bottom line though, you're looking for a buyer who is a needle in a haystack. I'm sure there is a buyer out there though. May take a while but you're set will most likely be the only fully graded set available
  6. Okay I have a massive case of OCD and this doesn't bother me at all In fact, I always tap my books to that side of the case. I'd rather have it all the way to one side.
  7. But this one has off white pages. Could there be a 2nd copy out there?
  8. What? Someone simply wanted a piece of the Action. Sorry.
  9. Im a bit under educated and not very smart. If they fast tracked every order...how would that change anything?
  10. Okay, that makes sense to me. Walk through and Express are completely diff animals, right?
  11. Are these books all in bad shape? Seems crazy that folks dont take a few minutes to go online and see what they are worth before all but giving them away. The flea markets I go to...the sellers seem to know whats what.
  12. Does anyone expect it to outpace TWD issue 1? TWD 1 in a 9.6 is going for almost 2K right now. UF4 in a 9.6 is going for around $1400. TWD has movies coming out eventually.
  13. I think I know where I fudged up. I didnt select modern. I went right to walk through.
  14. WALKTHROUGH Fastest possible turnaround time. All comics. Any value. 6%FMV / comic ($300.00 min) This is what it says. I went through the motions and the order is in my cart. The fee is $300. Handling is $5. Shipping is TBD
  15. Thanks in advance. I have 1 comic book that Id like to get pressed and graded. This is not a big money book. Its a modern worth maybe $50. I want it slabbed for personal reasons. I dont want to wait a year to get it back. On the online sub form it says $300 minimum to fast track modern books. Does that mean the books have to be worth at least $300 to be fast tracked? Or are they gonna charge me $300 to fast track it? Is what I wanna do even possible?...fast tracking 1, low value - modern book?
  16. Miles has no future. Peter Parker is the only Spider Man. My daughter is 13 and she agrees so im not just shaking my cane here.
  17. I think a book with a color break that has not been pressed would probably also have bends where the color break is and that should knock it down to a 9.6, at least. If you press it, now all it has is the 1 defect = 9.8 My Walking Dead 19 is a CGC 9.6. It has 1 color break on the spine. I can clearly see spine bends where the break is. A press would have removed those bends and possibly made it a 9.8.
  18. I don't think a 9.8 should have a color break. I'd feel differently if there were more 9.9s and 10s available. I'm thinking a 9.8 with a color break is probably a dead giveaway the book has been pressed though.
