Ive only purchased one cbcs slab in my life. Killing Joke cbcs 9.8. It cross graded to a cgc 9.8 so im 1 for 1 there. In December I purchased a Spawn Thanks - cgc 9.8 from Ebay. Best offer of $330, all in. Since then, 2 cbcs 9.8 copies of that book have been sold. 1 sold for $370 all in and the other for $340 all in. Maybe buyers are starting to soften on cbcs slabs.

I have a newsstand Magneto cover but its got a few dings on the spine. I wouldnt mind having all the #1 covers in newsstand. I have 2 through 12 in newsstand too.

A CGC 9.8 graded #1 will also help you sell your 1 - 100 run if you ever wanted to. I try and add a graded book to all my runs.

There are a ton of them, sure. There are also a ton of new comic fans that were not around to buy 20 copies of each cover like most people did 30 years ago.

I thought those inner well scuffs were done by CGC as a strategy to fight Newton rings.

My kids, ages 21 and 14, love manga so maybe it's a generational thing? I don't have any interest in reading them and there are quite a few in the house. Pokemon, Naruto, Soul Eater, My Hero Academia, Kingdom Hearts I've bought many of these for my kids for X-Mas gifts over the years but that's the only reason why I know what they are.

Todd was a teenager when this book came out. This is obviously the first ever graded multiverse submission. Very rare.

I use wooden file cabinets. My job was throwing them out so I took 3 home. I lay the slabs flat and stack them 5 high. I only have around 75 slabs though.

If pressing were considered restoration it would put the graders in an impossible situation. How could would they 100% know if a book has been pressed? Would they simply be best guessing? Scary thought.
